I'm 19 ATM and I'm trying or1gin and tbh it's helping me get those calories in with it's appetite increasing ingredients. So even if at the end of it all it doesn't give me extra muscle building or strength at least the appetite increase is nice because you get to enjoy eating food instead of force-feeding.I know, many, if not most supplements are either ineffective, or complete crap. I know that there's an industry full of false claims, and lies, and have already realized that food is the best thing when it comes to muscle growth. I am 16 years old, and for a couple weeks now, I have been eating, eating, and training, and training. I feel like I have been eating more now than ever, and even get made fun of in school, (in a friendly manner) for how much I eat. I am 5'10, and the last time I got "officially" weighed, a week or two ago at the doctor, I was 200 pounds, however I track my weight at home using a scale I have. I feel like I am taking my training and weightlifting more seriously now than ever also, and have been making strength gains.
I have been researching natural anabolics for a while now, and it looks like these types of supplements, which are relatively new, have generally positive reviews. It's said that if you eat lot, natural anabolics will aid in muscle growth, and also limit the fat loss that comes with eating a lot of calories. I have been looking at Anabeta Elite, and Follidrone 2.0 as two potential supplements I am interested in. My overall question is if they are safe, and if they are effective for someone my age. As stated before, I know most supplements are absolutely worthless at my age, and those that do work, are usually not safe for my age.
It seems natural anabolics are safe, however I could be wrong, and before buying something that may or may not be safe for me, or effective, I decided I'd ask you veterans out there who are experienced with this stuff. I know you aren't supposed to recommend supplements to those under 18, but I'd prefer an honest answer, if you think I'm an idiot, then tell me. Anyways, your thoughts are appreciated.
My appetite is fine, I eat like a horse as is, it's just it seems like there are generally positive reviews towards natural anabolics, and they seem to be aiding in what I'm looking for. I'm aware that supplements can mostly be scams, but to me it seems these might give me the extra "umpfh". Maybe I'm thinking too far ahead of myself, but I eat like a horse, get at least 8 hours of sleep, and I AM GETTING STRONGER, and natural anabolics are something I've been looking at for a while now, and seem to match what I'm looking for in a supplement.
I use a multivitamin, krill oil, creatine and plant based protein powder. I've already discovered for myself the power of food, and I take my diet seriously. I'm just interested, with all the buzz about natural anabolics, what it can do for me. I haven't bought a new supplement in months, nor gotten into any hype, and I've just been researching natural anabolics for around a month now.I know you don't like to hear this, but we are trying to save you time and money. For now, I would focus on diet and training and if you want to add supplements into the mix, use the staples (pre workout, protein ...etc). Those 3 (mainly the first 2) will take you a long way. Especially at your age. If you need help on deciding what staples to take I am more than happy to lead you in the right direction. A few websites have great deals right now as well.
I would also like to set up a training routine for you as well as diet.

It's not that I'm not seeing results, it's just that I'm looking for an extra push/edge if you get what I mean.We all have been in your shoes before. But I still suggest to stay away for a bit. That's just my opinion. You can take other things like whey protein, pre workout, creatine, pump products, bcaa/inta workout but nothing will provide results like a dialed in diet and training program.

That's the thing... I don't really know what you mean by extra push/edge. Can you explain further? Are you looking for something that increases energy? Increases or decreases appetite? Improves recovery? Improves sleep? Improves endurance?
There are natural supplements that can help with those things, but there are no natural supplements that are going to directly add muscle or strength. So, you'll have to be a little clearer about what you mean about push/edge.
I can't speak for him, but I know when I'm not having good motivation it almost always kicks me back into gear if I start running something new. Just the fact that I spent money on it makes me work much harder. I don't expect much more than that from natural supplements.
My appetite is fine, as I said I eat like a horse as is, I've gained nearly 50 pounds so far, obviously not pure muscle, but I'd say I've gained much more muscle than fat in under a year of training, my recovery is good, sleep is great, I'm seeing my lifts go up, overall I'd say I'm doing successful right now. Many people who took natural anabolics reported increased strength, and increases in muscle growth, with low fat gain as well. If this is true, for a natural supplement, it seems like a great thing to try out. I know it's not going to make me chiseled, or have the strength of a world class powerlifter, but I fee like since I'm doing well right now, it might now hurt to try something that could make my performance a bit better, since I have my diet and training in check. Also, rascal14, my motivation isn't at fault also, in-fact yesterday I had the greatest motivation upon entering the gym, and was actually really pumped to start my workout.
Lately I've been increasing my food intake, just because I've noticed my hunger go up, I pack around 1000 calories in "snacks" at school in the form of sandwiches, aside from the regular lunch I eat there. I'm basically eating all day, lol.More quality sleep = Magic Pill for recovery, especially when you are very young. If you cannot get to sleep, natural sleep aids. You have all the rest you need in your body already at that age, and then there's food. Haha. Enjoy quality foods.

Would refined flours be like white bread? I use whole grain and other breads, just because I don't like the taste of white bread, and I've heard it's unhealthy. No refined flours or sugars. (If you have not eliminated them already)
Just eliminate those two things from your life for 1 month and you will see some major changes in how you feel; sleep, and look.
Your gut health is a key component to your cells getting the proper nutrients you are putting into your eating efforts.
Let me know how it goes when and if you do this.
Unreal bread 220 cals and 12g of protein for 2 slices!Dave's Killer Bread. Get it.
I'll check them out, but back onto the topic of natural anabolics?Unreal bread 220 cals and 12g of protein for 2 slices!

I'm just interested in seeing what they can do for me, especially when it's rumored that they really help when you eat a lot, which is what I do currently. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, I just want to know if you think it's worth a try.I'm not sure what you want to know? I don't think there are any side effects so they are probably all safe. Epicatechin has been shown to lower blood pressure, so I'm actually considering using it in combination with some stimulants on a cut. But as far as strength and muscle mass is concerned, I don't think you're going to get an edge from using natural anabolics. I'm not really sure what to tell you.

If I could push my muscles more than I usually could, whether it be endurance wise, it would help with growth and strength somewhat.I don't want to say that they "don't work" because they can have benefits to them, just like zinc, vitamin c, vitamin d, etc. have benefits. Personally, I would never use them to increase strength or muscle. However, epicatechin has been shown to lower BP and some users have reported increased endurance. If that is something that is appealing to you then I would say give it a shot.

My last max was 235 for bench, however it should be around 250 now. My goal is to do 225 for 8 by June, and I benched 205 for 7 my last w/o. My deadlift isn't good, I haven't deadlifted in a while, I am getting back into it. I also haven't done max squat, but I'm sure it's in the high 200s or low 300s.Sounds like your on most of the safe stuff.
Obviously people aren't saying what you want to hear.
If you gained 50lbs in a year just with protein and creatine you could have a career in fitness for sure.
200mg is a big ass 16 year old.
How much do you squat deadlift and bench?
What state do you've in.
So.....and this is my opinion.....eating over took strength. My last max was 235 for bench, however it should be around 250 now. I don't expect it to catapult my strength or muscle, as I said before, I'm curious what it can do for me with a good diet and proper training.Youre 16 ffs, if youre making progress WHICH YOU SHOULD BE, taking some herbal extracts aint gonna do diddly, its not gonna suddenly catapault your current progression
Go take a girl to the movies and eat some dark chocolate with her
I'm curious what it can do for me with a good diet and proper training.
A big reason why I am looking at natural anabolics, is the possible benefit of not gaining too much fat while using them. I think it would be great if I could eat the way I eat now, get stronger and bigger, and not have to worry about fat increase due to the amount of calories I consume. I am eating clean, most sugars and sweets out of my diet, and I'm not worrying too much about fat, because my body still uses a lot of calories to grow as a teen, but It would be good if there was a supplement that would aid in this.Sorry but slavicstrong has started two or three other threads with the same questions and got the same answers. At 16 nothing is going to help more then what's already been said. Eat sleep and train. End of story.
