I'm 33 and have been on clomid for TRT for almost 4 years. During my last exam my test was 350, so my doctor decided to switch me to testosterone pellets (Testopel). That visit was around 11/22/16. Right after that visit I started a cycle of 1-andro/epi-andro at 330/1000mg per day. I just got the pellets implanted yesterday, so I've been on cycle for about 5.5 weeks. Results have been good - I've put on weight with little fat gain.
According to my doctor, the Testopel is supposed to work immediately, so I'm wondering if I should ditch the cycle. My main concern is blood pressure. I'm already on amlodipine and yesterday my bp was 157/94. My wife freaked out and I'm not necessarily happy that I'm a 33-year-old stroke waiting to happen.
The amlodipine had been doing a good job of controlling my bp. Yesterday was the first time I've got it taken on cycle. I did have a Bang (300mg caffeine) on the way to the appointment (didn't think they'd take my bp), and I was admittedly a bit nervous.
Seems to me like ditching is the way to go. Thoughts?
Also, I'm guessing with the Testopel I don't need any PCT? When I ran trest in the past, I would quit taking Clomid on cycle then restart afterwards.
