Oh damn this forum is back, so how's everyone feeling about Trump already going against his word? No wall, Hilary not in jail, Obamacare only slightly changed, swamp is still a swamp, and more to come(or not come)!
Not sure, but we keep expanding the quota. I dont mind, so long as they contribute and don't expect us to change our culture to fit theirs

ummm...he's not President yet...
He appears to be more with the world than Obama is, like Russia for example, Obama does acts of wars with them (sanctions, overthrowing neighborhood governments and financing their civil wars, proxy wars in the middle east.) It appears Dump wants to be friends with Russia which is a good thing.
Ive been looking into this swamp thing, and its possible he is picking more of anti-globalist goblins from within the swamp which is also a better direction. No my personal picks however, I would have asked Ron Paul to be top dog in the Fed for example.
Obamacare and Hitlery, well....we will see about that.....gotta understand if he keeps calling her out Barry Soetoro may give her a Presidential pardon. What Dump needs to to is just put the right pieces in place and after he is President just take a step back and just let the system do their job. We have no idea really whats going to happen, just speculation.
Im far more optimistic about certain domestic and less optimistic about other certain things, we will have to wait and see.
My biggest optimism is that Barry Soetoro is gone and Hitlery isnt President, but also lets keep in mind the President is officially 1/3 branch of government and unofficially there is Shadow Government at play here too.
What I can say for certain is that Dump is not the defender of Liberty and US Constitution and I have no regrets not voting for him.
He is an idiot of yuge proportions. Big.
Yea he is definitely a nationalist rather then a globalist. I read this link and it basically states fascism and socialism are the same, I can see trump leaning towards fascism with his cultural nationalism. Invalid Link Removed
Look at who he is choosing for his cabinet and he also said there won't be a wall nor will Obamacare be abolished.
I see a lean towards fascism with him, but downgraded from Obama who is the biggest corporate/banker whore of all time. Domestic fascism > globalist fascism...well if I was to be vague. Gives people options to still run somewhere else.
Don't take him as a genuine person, sociopaths always hide under different personas for certain reasons. Is this a response of an intelligent man?

He is also morally bankrupt.
I'm waiting to see what his actions will be. If somebody says they are going to do something and then say they are not going to do something, why believe either statement?
Don't take him as a genuine person, sociopaths always hide under different personas for certain reasons.
Or why even trust a person that says two different thing? It would only be logical to just outright not trust him rather then blissfully assume he will do good.
I agree with you and don't trust him, nor did I vote for him. You're believing his statements now though. I'm simply saying that he hasn't made any actions yet and keeps changing his mind, so may very well change his mind back again.

My standard to judge him is going to be off his first 100 day plan. Alot which I like some not so much but with whatever he does if he actually fights for most of the first 100 day plan and not flip flop too much. Compromise, reasonable flexibility and change in stances is fine with me unlike that human flith Obama who completely flip flopped his first 100.

I disagree. I think in both those cases is where he'll shine. I believe congress our industry of US career politicians especially democrats will hinder his ability to effect change every chance they can.I'm sure he'll do some good but nothing actually beneficial to major issues like the economy or foreign policy.

As I see it (from over here, Bananaland):
Trump probably is a narcissist. This could be a good thing for the US.
If he wants a golden statue of himself, higher than the empire state, and makes it into history books, as a great president (the wet dream of a narcissist), he can hardly be bought -or influenced by anyone. He will do everything to be in favor with the masses, he has to.
I hope I'm right. It looks good so far, from my point of view. It could be he shares the fate of Kennedy or Lincoln, he surely got the warmongers pissed.
Which politician hasn't used rhetoric to get the position and done no such thing in his fulfillment of such.
"Hope and change" comes to mind.
We all have a preferred flavor of "Kool-Aid" and then we argue against each other's choice of flavor.
At the end of the day we're all drinking their Kook-Aid. Let's stop letting the Kool-Aid divide us.

lol I don't drink the political cool aid. I try to bring people together but different mindsets always clash. As I see it (from over here, Bananaland):

That is one thing that Trump and Obama have in common. both are narcissist.
I think both have huge egos, but not sure you can say either is a narcissist. That would imply they are not as important in real life as they actually are. President of the US seems relatively important.

He's STILL not president yet.I see Trump is still draining the swamp, LOL. He just picked a Wall Street lawyer to head the SEC. SMH.
He's STILL not president yet.
Can you consider for a minute that the reputations (or even track record) of the people he is appointing is far less important than their ability to get and produce results that they will be instructed to deliver?
It's not a popularity contest and he's certainly not going to start now to desire anyone's approval. This is not politics - it business - as it should be.
You don't deliver - you're fired!![]()
How many days of the year does the congress actually work?
Senate?
What do they earn?

Who would you have suggested for the job? I'm not trying to start an argument and it's not a trick question. I keep hearing people criticize both sides for who the put into positions, but I never hear reasons why except vague assumptions (e.g. Wall Street and lawyer must mean they're evil). But if not a Wall Street lawyer, who should get that job? Somebody with no financial or legal experience?
"Jay Clayton is a highly talented expert on many aspects of financial and regulatory law, and he will ensure our financial institutions can thrive and create jobs while playing by the rules at the same time," Trump said in a statement Wednesday. "We need to undo many regulations which have stifled investment in American businesses, and restore oversight of the financial industry in a way that does not harm American workers."
How is this a bad thing?
I find it funny as hell how afraid the dems are that the repubs are going to use all the dirty tricks that harry reed and Obama instituted, against them , lol.
that is funny!
Its like the guy down the street that is a professional crook and has bars on his windows and doors. Thinks everyone thinks like he does!
no...he thinks everyone does as he does....
Trump isn't a Republican eitherI find it funny as hell how afraid the dems are that the repubs are going to use all the dirty tricks that harry reed and Obama instituted, against them , lol.
