Di.Anabol & Justhere4comm's THERMOGENESIS log sponsored (Bringing the Heat)

Note:

My wife has an upper respiratory infection and is on anti-biotics for the next 10 days. Must have caught a bug in Chicago so we went to the doctor yesterday afternoon. She never gets sick. I have no idea why I'm not sick as well, but it could be because I take so much vitamin c daily, it helped me keep it at bay. So far so good as I was able to go workout today. Invalid Link Removed I believe implementing the HST and this supplement might reap some interesting results!

The only soreness I have felt was DOMS from working out.
I'm not sure how we should do this as the supplement has shipped as of yesterday. Brandinooooo

I can start as soon as it arrives and stagger with her, or wait until she's good to go and then start up at the same time.

Staggering is fine. Just start yours when you get it and once she's feeling better, have her start.

agree, as long as you both are feeling good. last thing you want is to use this and then get run down

Just got our "His n' Hers" package today!
I will be starting this engine up tomorrow.

I managed to get myself in the gym today, instead of Friday (See notes)

HST Day 2
Weeks 1-2:
Friday

Leg Press
Warm-Up Set 15 @ 180
1 Set x 15 Reps @ 195

Stiff-Legged Deadlifts
1 Set x 15 Reps @ 140

Incline Bench Press
1 Set x 15 Reps @ 125

Dips
2 Sets x 15 Reps (-50)

Narrow-Grip Chin-Ups
1 Set x 15 Reps (-100)

Pendlay Rows
1 Set x 15 Reps @ 90

Military Press
1 Set x 15 Reps @ 105

Lateral Raises
1 Sets x 15 Reps @ 20

DB Hammer Curls @ 25
1 Sets x 15 Reps

Skull Crushers @ 105
1 Sets x 15 Reps

1-Leg Calf Raises @ 165
1 Sets x 15

By the deadlifts, those take a lot of wind out of me which I think is the reason I've been shaken at the end of these workouts.

Thermogenisis

I dosed two caps about an hour before working out today. No noticeable sides, unless one can determine an elevated heart rate (more than usual) post workout, but I'm attributing it to the newly implemented HST which prior to dosing Thermogenisis provided me with a similar effect, just a little lessor degree. Will consider this on Monday for the next workout, and observations.

Wow! Started with 2 out the door? Hows the stims at 2? I was going to hold off until Monday, but may start it tomorrow .

Re: 2 caps. I really didn't notice anything except a little bit of nausea post workout, but that could be the HST kicking me hard. I'm not used to it, and the deadlifts are taxing. I think I'm going to substitute EOD leg curls. I may also try 2 caps split during the day.

A little tidbit I found about Vince Gironda I think you will all like.

If you wanted to work out at Vince’s gym he just had a few simple rules that you had to follow:

1. Failing to work. (My system works, but sometimes my students do not.)
2. Asking for squat racks! (For what?)
3. Refusing to remove shoes during calf work.
4. Attempting to serve two masters. (IMPOSSIBLE!)
5. Performing high repetition ab work.
6. Bringing street clothes on to the gym floor.
7. Performing full sit-ups. (Are they crazy?)
8. Starting a workout with bicep exercises.
9. Practicing lazy, multiset bench presses.
10. Mentioning the words running or aerobics.
11. Hanging around to socialize while doing one set every 10 minutes.
12. Eating hamburgers and fries on a diet.

Loved this.

Indeed!! I love it and thanks for sharing!! Good to know about dosing 2, will be doing it tomorrow.

Great work@justhere4comm!

When I started HST the first time around, the 15 rep phase actually hit me hard. I was used to lifting heavy and hard, but going high reps wasn't something I've ever been good at. Getting through an entire full body workout was actually very difficult and tiring.

Second time around it was still hard, but not as bad.

I love seeing you doing exercises that aren't easy for you - like pull ups. It looks like you are using assistance to do a pull up (I.e.- can't do a pull up yet) - and I know from your perspective you probably feel bad or "weak" about that I'd you are like me. The thing is, most people avoid things they can't do and you are going after it and that means you will be doing pull ups VERY soon. Seeing you work like that makes me motivated to attack my own weaknesses.

On the flip side...let's talk about skull crushers...nice numbers man. Strong lift.

T bar rows are an excellent opposite of Skull Crushers.

bighulksmash and hairygrandpa are big proponents of two of the BEST pieces of advice. I don't say it much because they usually have it covered, but for getting stronger, there are two methods that work GREAT -

1. Negatives
2. Rest Pause

If you don't have a training partner, at the very least you can get your last rep and then hold it in a static contraction for as long as possible until the weight crashes down...just be careful and plan ahead so that you don't get hurt.

You can only keep what you have by giving it away . Knowledge is amazing!

Just dosed one this morning and about 3 hours later I'm feeling very warm. I feel my core heating up. Going to take another cap in about 2 hours. No jitters, just clean energy.

That sounds great! Nothing like clean energy. Just hope you have things to do! Lol
