Pumkpin Spice Babka Bread:

Invalid Link Removed

I had higher hopes. After seeing a lot of middle of the road reviews they are all pretty spot on. No where near as good as the chocolate babka cake.
This cake is a little dry, the pumpkin flavor is mediocre, and the pumpkin pie spices are very minimal. The little graham on top is nice, but the filling on the inside is pretty weak. Overall not the greatest, TJ's could of done on a lot better on this seasonal special.

6.5/10

They had those last year too

And the sprouts pumpkin Jo-Jo's knock off

Huh I must've missed the o's last year. Were they good? Compared to cheerios/tj's?

Also, puffins are prob the best of all the pumpkin cereals. Hoping they didn't change them at all

Tender, juicy, proper ratio of fat, well spiced...AKA, strong.

Already being taken off the menu at most Arby's:

Invalid Link Removed

Combination of mayo and fat from the belly makes it very moist.

Invalid Link Removed

Crunchy onions are texturally appreciated and BBQ sauce adds a nice touch of sweetness to play against the smoke.

Invalid Link Removed

Obviously not at local restaurant/pub level, but worth trying.

Finally got a chance to try the other really close donut shop to me. They close at 3 but always sell out early, sometimes by 12-1p.

I can see why too. These were the best cake donuts I've had.

Reese's cup, maple bacon cheese, blueberry, chocolate Oreo, sour creme, apple fritter, pumpkin pie. All were really good but the best were the Reese and maple.

Def going back earlier to get some of the other flavors next time

Solid Donut ventures gents.

Another trip to Milktooth:

Invalid Link Removed

sourdough pearl sugar waffle : roasted acorn squash butter, pomegranate maple syrup, pumpkin seed and pecan granola

Invalid Link Removed

kabocha squash cake with mexican chocolate ganache and brown butter cream cheese frosting.

Invalid Link Removed

One of the best slices of cake I've ever had...easily. Burger is always 11/10 and the grilled cheese? Bruh....

B Spot Burgers, Brats & Beers:

November Smasher Special: Thanksgiving Gobbler

Turkey burger with arugula, housemade herbed stuffing, turkey gravy and whole cranberry sauce.

Invalid Link Removed

Soft herby stuffing that is moist from the sauce & rich gravy. Sweetness of whole cranberry sauce combines with that of the brioche bun so that there is not cranberry tartness.

Add grilled/charred flavor of patty and it tastes like Thanksgiving entree, dessert & backyard BBQ-ing.

Invalid Link Removedfound these two at HEB in Houston the other day

Invalid Link Removed these also look very promising and different than the last variation

BRU Burger's Honey Chipotle BBQ Burger :

Invalid Link Removed

BACON, CARAMELIZED ONIONS, WHITE CHEDDAR, ONION RING, BBQ PULLED PORK AND BLACK PEPPER MAYO

Tied with the Milktooth Double at Milktooth and the Okonomiyaki Burger at Rook for best burger in Indy. They could have easily botched it with so many components but these go together flawlessly.

Then at Public Greens Campfire Brownie:

Invalid Link Removed

Grilled Graham Cracker Brownie, Marshmallow Fluff.

Invalid Link Removed

Such a fudgy brownie, rich in chocolate flavor, classic crisped out brownie layer that combines with crushed grahams...and the torched fluff...lawd.

Then I also brought home a slice of Sweet Potato Pie from the same place:

So damn good.

Glad to have found these:

Made the mistake of waiting until they went on sale last year and was left empty handed.

Now these are some awesome looking flavors!

Anyone tried the caramel apple? I want to pick them up but damn do I not need another 12pk...

THink I may have mentioned before, but the pink lemonade ones (which I expected to be awful) were actually REALLY good.

Stick to the Pumpkin flavor, but then again I can only tolerate fake apple flavoring in bcaa's. That being said, TJ's pumpkin pop-tarts are the move as far as I'm concerned.

so i'm to assume they're heavy apple and light caramel? was hoping for the opposite ha

Didn't mean to mislead: I haven't tried them yet. Was just being a negative Nancy given my general experience with non-apple-containing apple-flavored items.

I have not gotten the apple for the same reason; too many pop tarts currently. I need to start getting through them, but I've been on a cereal kick lately.

I may be one of the few that didn't like the pumpkin pop tarts. I love pumpkin, but something about those was off.

Cereal has been my thing lately too! Especially all the pumpkin stuff. Been burning through boxes like crazy while pop tarts and Oreos are just building up ha.

White fudge covered Oreos are back for the holidays! Picked up 3 boxes at Walmart along with a bag of Reese's clusters. Also, I tried the mint M&M's and wasn't a fan. Too much mint for me
