Alpha TESTs Earths Darkside (first cycle log)

I am not aloud to go home to put up shutters lol if i die during the hurricane because of this I need someone to avenge my death, any volunteers ? Lol

Seriously tho, hoping it doesn't follow the predicted path. Keeps getting closer to you guys! Looking like we're just going to get the winds, which is bad enough.

They probably would do some crap like that too lmao and I'm right where it's suppose to hit lmfao it's coming for me but it ain't stopping me from lifting I'll tell you that haha

Get it bro! If you lift outdoors in the wind, it will work your stabilizers more. Core work FTW!

We don't even have shutters. I'd have to go to home depot and ghetto rig plywood. The last direct hit here was in 1944, so I'm hedging my bets.

I do have a generator though. Just so that I can keep my phone charged and stay on AM if the power does go out!

Been in SFL since 01 so got the veteran status myself haha , just think it's funny how bad some people are over exaggerating , I don't even get why people are going so crazy over water , a 24 pack will last them a month hurricane or not.

NEFL here, going to get hit Friday sometime. We did fill up the tank on both cars, but already had hit CostCo for water last week, so we were already well stocked. :) I heard one of my neighbors firing up his generator earlier this evening, ran for a couple of minutes, I assume he was testing it in preparation. That is the one thing I did wish I had bought, but oh well. We are just outside of the evacuation zone, so no mandatory evac tomorrow (they are starting at 6 AM tomorrow). Other than that we just went out to clean up yard stuff (fold down lawn chairs, turn over the picnic table on its top, stuff like that).

Today's chest back and arm day was out of this world ! It was awesome loved every second of it , the pump was tearing my arms off and the strength on incline was way above normal ...

Is it bad I was actually WANTING it to hit here? Im working all weekend at my 2 fire departments and figured it would be good for a fire, wreck on the interstate or building collapse. I am obviously not right in the head

Another bonus point for the home gym!

Bummed the storm turned east more. Was looking forward to nice gusty winds and a little rain. Maybe some of that cool crisp air that we only get around Christmas!

Dude if it's in the high 70s I will be sweating at rest. I actually like the warmth over cold if I had to pick one, but I am absolutely hot-blooded. I'm wearing shorts into the 50s comfortably.

Im the same way. Sweat year round, and shorts into the 50s. T shirt all year and my coat is an Under Armour hoodie. I was miserable this summer with it
90+ everyday, and last year when it was 76 on Christmas Day. Plus it jacks up my deer hunting

Sometimes it gets cold (60s) on Christmas here. But it's usually January before it actually gets cool. I think you guys are usually 3-5 deg warmer than us. Last year, we had our A/C on still. So it had to have been mid 80s. We try to open the house up if it's 80 or lower.

Coming from up north, I laughed when people wore winter coats in the 60s here. Now I totally understand. Once you're used to 95 for most of the year, 60s feels like freezing.

Heaviest thing I had was a fleece, which I wore if I was going to be out shoveling snow or something for a long time.

You really do adjust. It took a couple years. But 60s feels like 30s to me now.

Completely understand the getting used to it. The first time I came home for an R&R from Iraq was late October. I had been in 120 degree weather for almost 5 months. Woke up the first morning home, looked at the weather and it was 72 or so. Doing as I usually would, I threw on a t shirt and shorts. I froze my @ss off!!
 
Leg and shoulder day was fuccing amazing today guys! And it was unexpected I was gunna rest today and lift tomorrow but last minute I said fucc it let me lift today so I can have a good non rushed workout and then tomorrow I'll rest . Added cordygen and I did not want to stop, cordygen deserves a full review and I promise it's coming just want to give it a good try before putting it up.

Great day today each rep was focused and rest was very short
As you guys know I usually lift at 5 am so it was a very different crowd today. Got stopped twice I was told "you look like a guy from a magazine" and the second time "bro you're the picture of the word strong , you could probably flip a PT cruiser if you tried... You're such a motivation" this felt really good. I'm not one to let this kind of stuff pump my nuts but I was going ham and feeling good about the workout so it felt good . I'll have some progress info soon for you guys riding it out till Sunday . The fun should be starting soon fellas
 
That is bad-@ss bud. That is where I am trying to get back to. People asking me if I compete or what I am training for. Awesome job homie!
