FireTitans body butter meltdown

Hahaha!!! As if I knew how. Other than
1.work on hook
2. Hook AND work in water
3. Wait.
4. Go home mad

Try river or ocean fishing. I won't do lakes because it's boring to me. I'm used to combat fishing or open ocean.

I hear that dynamite with a rock tied to it works pretty good. I've also heard that the old crank telephones with two long wires going down in the water works good too. Lol!

If I can do it anyone can!

No oceans by me, several larger lakes and excellent rivers though

I have tried several times but only on Lakes and ponds. I just never could get that into it. My son enjoys it a lot though. I just always took two hunting deer and have learned to enjoy the time in the woods whether I see anything or not. It's just very peaceful and give me a break from everything that creates my stresses

I am also very picky as to what I shoot. No babies no moms with her babies and nothing small. I do eat what I shoot but on several occasions have let even good dear walk simply because I enjoy watching them

I'm too much of a softy to hunt...

Same here. Not sure why but I think I actually relate better to animals than people. :)

I've been more distraught over losing a dog than at funerals. Granted, he was the most amazing dog ever. But still, I realize that's not normal.

I love animals dearly and probably have more care for them then the majority of the people I need meat, know and known. But somehow another I still enjoy hunting, maybe it's me that is the weird one

I hear it's different with wild animals. And it makes sense. Just can't say I've tried. Wasn't raised by a hunter and I'd have to force myself to try. So I just opt not to.

I'm certainly not judging you. Hunting is 1000% more humane than what goes on at farms and I eat that crap.

Not on purpose. I fish and you don't....we're even haha

Plus, you shouldn't feel guilty about something you've grown up on and enjoy. I certainly don't judge you

I can clean/gut and cook a kill, I just can't make the kill... no judgment, I've just been this way ever since my dad caught me throwing a salamander on a camp fire lol

That depends where you live. Try fresh water fishing here where I am, it's a major adventure!
Years ago when I still had a boat, I apparently caught a freshwater ray at night, this fugger was hauling the 20 feet boat against the current for about 15 minutes before the line broke.

Damn!! So it was like the hairy grandpa of rays!?

From the news here, this one has over 300lbs.
15 years ago, they caught a specimen of over 800lbs in the same river. It should have been worldwide on the news but we are in bananaland.

Damn that's impressive!!

I attempted this using an emergency radio/flashlight combo with a crank to generate power. Ended up shocking myself quite thoroughly. Twice.

Oh, you are the weird one, just not for this particular reason

Sorry guys, just getting caught up. Anything with FireTitan and Butter in the title is a little.........distracting.

Hey, I'm on your side FireTitan.

I love to hunt. Lately though, it's been more about how long of a shot I can make than how big of a buck I can get.

Holy chit! Look at the beard on that guy. Lol. H3ll of a buck bro! Ive got a total of 280 acres to hunt but the longest shot I have due to the topography is around 350 yards. Still, thats an impressive deer brother

The one where you can see the whole deer was 565 yrds running. The other one was 430 yrds standing all nice and pretty for me. I hunt in Western Ks on my in-laws farm ground so I have room to stretch my shots out. Longest shot I made on a deer was 1000 yrds to prove to my wife's cousin I could. Funny thing was, we were on one section of ground and I shot over some ground owned by someone else to shoot the deer that was on our ground on the other side. Lol! I assume that's legal.

as long as it is a clean, humane shot...a long shot is cool, but a wounded deer wandering around aint sporting, imo.

got to have respect for the animals we hunt and fish!!!

Outstanding!! And I too assume that shots legality!!

Yea sir, we do! And my son has been taught the same! Good, clean shots, on deer that qualify as a "shooter" in my book.

She went 15-20 yrds and fell over. Hit the top of the heart. I don't like sloppy shots or being inhumane. I use a .308 Winchester so that distance is not a problem ethically.

Gotta love the .308

Yup! Had a shot at a monster buck last year but didn't take it because I had my AR .223 and it would have been a front of the chest shot at 300 yrds. While I know the .223 could have dropped him where he stood, there was too much bone to go through before it hit vitals. Couldn't take the shot at that angle and when he did turn, there was a doe directly behind him. :(

Hate when that happens. Heres one from last year. I just did a european mount because my son wants to try and hydro dip it.Invalid Link Removed
White tail. 13 countable points and a couple just barely ringable at the base

All of mine are European style. Takes up less space, can do it myself, it's not going look like crap after 10 years and it doesn't cost a fortune to do!

This is my wife's from a few years back. You can tell she wasn't happy with it at all. Lol!
