What's up guys- so I've been lifting for about 8 years
Now I have quite an interesting story, 5 of those years where solid and like clock work- but I'm also a recovering opiate addict- and right around 5 years clean I had a slip and for the next two years everything was very sporadic...(no I don't care what anyone thinks, opiate addiction is everywhere in this country sadly)
That being said I cleaned my **** up and started working with an IFBB pro to get back on track(not an Olympia contender- the guy just holds his pro card I won't disclose who b/c it's kinda irrelevant)
And for a year and a half made great progress, and then opiates bit me in the ass again.
Cleaned back up and here I am. I will post pictures of my peak condition- then what I made it back to prior to opiates biting me again- and where I am now!
I came here for support and to log my experience...
Diet(training days)
Meal 1- 12 egg whites and a cup of oats OR sub 2 scoops whey for egg whites
Meal 2- 6oz cooked potato and 6oz cooked chicken breast
Meal 3- repeat meal 2
Meal 4 - 6oz chicken breast 8oz greens
Meal 5 8oz sirloin 8oz greens
Meal 6 12 egg whites OR 2 scoops whey
I won't list my training until I work that group out just because i don't feel like it in this initial post but it is high rep(15-20 reps) with super and drop sets, and 30 minutes of HIIT on a stair stepper
Here is me at my peak
Here is me after 3 months with IFBB when I got back on track
And here I am after a brief slip on opiates
I gained some weight and lost some muscle due to detox and the meds they put me on for the initial detox.
Anyways I look forward to having you guys along for the journey back to being where I want to be physically AND beyond that
