What's up guys- so I've been lifting for about 8 years

Now I have quite an interesting story, 5 of those years where solid and like clock work- but I'm also a recovering opiate addict- and right around 5 years clean I had a slip and for the next two years everything was very sporadic...(no I don't care what anyone thinks, opiate addiction is everywhere in this country sadly)

That being said I cleaned my **** up and started working with an IFBB pro to get back on track(not an Olympia contender- the guy just holds his pro card I won't disclose who b/c it's kinda irrelevant)

And for a year and a half made great progress, and then opiates bit me in the ass again.

Cleaned back up and here I am. I will post pictures of my peak condition- then what I made it back to prior to opiates biting me again- and where I am now!

I came here for support and to log my experience...

Diet(training days)

Meal 1- 12 egg whites and a cup of oats OR sub 2 scoops whey for egg whites

Meal 2- 6oz cooked potato and 6oz cooked chicken breast

Meal 3- repeat meal 2

Meal 4 - 6oz chicken breast 8oz greens

Meal 5 8oz sirloin 8oz greens

Meal 6 12 egg whites OR 2 scoops whey

I won't list my training until I work that group out just because i don't feel like it in this initial post but it is high rep(15-20 reps) with super and drop sets, and 30 minutes of HIIT on a stair stepper

Here is me at my peak

Here is me after 3 months with IFBB when I got back on track

And here I am after a brief slip on opiates

I gained some weight and lost some muscle due to detox and the meds they put me on for the initial detox.

Anyways I look forward to having you guys along for the journey back to being where I want to be physically AND beyond that

thanks brother,
Stats: 5'11
Weight 228
bf% 18%

Goal is to cut down to 10% in 4 months... believe it can be done long as I keep my head out of my ass!

Yesterday was quads- I took today off- I never lift day after legs.

Was 5 sets of squats pyramiding up with 2 drop sets at the end.
Set 1 185x15
Set 2 225x15
Set 3 275x15
Set 4 315x8 drop to 225 x7
Set 5 315x6 drop to 225x6

Leg extensions
5 sets of 15 with contractions at top.

By the end of this my knees where killing me so I decided to call it a day. Wanted to do lunges but the knees weren't having it.

Tomorrow is back and biceps with 20 minutes HIIT on the stair master.

Weight is already starting to come off. I can tell as water weight is falling off and my midsection is already tightening up. If I know my body- in the next week fat loss is really going to kick in.

I also won't be having any cheat meals the first 21-28 days and then after that it will be ONE MEAL a week

Hey bro how you making out? Just checking in. Frank

Sorry I haven't updated in a bit- work has been insane.

Things are progressing very nicely. Veins are slowly starting to appear in my front delt and upper chest, my stomach is tightening up nicely.

Today was legs again,
225x15 for 3 sets
Leg extensions(each set a drop set)
3 sets at 120x15 with a 2 second pause at extension drop set to 100 x 15 with a good pause at extension.

Did 3 sets of lunges at 15 reps each and finished it out with calves.

Tomorrow will be back and biceps with cardio.

Don't do cardio on leg day.

I figure I'll post pics up in about 8-10 days.

Also adding in arimidex.

I am not sensitive to estrogen at all- however I feel the less estrogen while on a cut the better.

Update again tomorrow- oh and weight is down about 2 lbs
