Today's workout was more than a typical strong lifts routine which has proven muscle growth for me. I think I will follow strong lifts on my pct instead of lifted's murderous routines. I know I can gain strength on it. Plus I really like squats. lol. I get motivated for my lifts after squatting. Nothing like having a bar literally bending on your shoulders. :D

Very true! Only you know what works the best for you. And lifted routines are sick! But look at him, like a rock. If you have something that works, keep it.

Finally got my hot tub back in service. Soaked in it this morning now I'm heading to the gym. It's gonna be a good day. I'm hitting some shoulders and arms. My legs and lower back are pretty sore so yesterday was a good day. Lol.

I recorded my shoulder numbers but not my arms. I just did like a giant superset moving from cable curls to tri extensions and seated curls tri raises etc. hit them real hard for about thirty min straight.

This weekend sucked major. The misses has had strep throat all weekend so I've had all the kids with no one to tag in. On top of that I had to try and study for my first two tests of the semester today. That didn't go very well.

I had a built up anger workout today and felt great. Pretty tired but overall felt strong. Worked chest and tris. Couldn't get a good post workout pic cause to many naked old dudes walking around the locker room. Lol.

You have a really good physique, my weekend was a mess too, could not get legs day in cause my hometown doesn't believe in lifting and had no open gyms lol. I was back in town for a class reunion.
 
I'm really pleased with how I'm progressing. I'm contemplating real hard about doing a physique comp next year. I think it'd be a lot of fun.
 
It is hard work but getting in stage is such a rush and placing is a reward. My best advice is to get a proven prep coach.
 
I have red line brother who actually competes and he is a personal trainer on off days. I'm gonna talk to him and see what he thinks.
 
If he is GTG in the nutritional aspect of it I say go for it.
 
I'd say he is. And there's about ten years of age between us so we would be in different classes too. So I'm sure he'd be cool with it. I just know he's gonna say cardio. Lol. Eww

I think the WV npc is around this time each year and it's (if I recall) only about an hour away from me. So I'd have a good year before I did this. Plenty of time for bulking :D lol. Just one person I'd have to get on board with this.... That won't be easy.

If you're referring to your wife, might not be as hard as you think. Mine HATES me taking supplements, any of them. But sarcastically I Said something about competing after BB friend mentioned me doing it, and she was all over it. Couldn't believe it.
 
My wife hates me taking supps. Doesn't like me spending money. Doesn't even like it when they're free.

Didn't get my pyramid which kinda bummed me out. I got overzealous and went to heavy to fast. So as a Result I added pull ups to my second super set just to work a little harder. Almost didn't do deadlifts but I already said I was going to. So I did. The platform was being used by a chick actually doing deadlifts. I was pretty impressed. She was doing 205 and she couldn't have weighed 115.
Anyways. I did rack pulls and felt great.

I was trying to record my squats so I could prove the numbers and reps. And the stupid thing doesn't record and then does some stupid screen glitch melty thing. So I freaking chucked it. Nearly hit the mirror. Lol. I really lost my temper over something so minuscule.

I have definitely reached my limits on my fuse. I am really really enjoying this Andromax. But over the last few weeks I have noticed a steady increase in aggression. I find myself gritting my teeth a lot and trying to calm down. I am an extremely, and I mean it, extremely laid back person. As long as I get my lift in I'm good. I can literally chill all day and be fine. Things don't normally bother me. I'd say that is the only side effect I've noticed this cycle. I wouldn't say it's a negative side effect because some people like that. It's just what I've noticed.
