How does stating them also place judgement?

I observe you tendered $1 and the cost for service is $10. There is inequality in this formula and what you tendered does not afford you the opportunity to experience the services that are valued at $10. I'm so disappointed in Gary Johnson right now Just saw that he had no idea what Aleppo is when asked in an interview. Not to mention, the guy comes across as super creepy. Ugh... He was my one last hope. I thought the Libertarian party would have a chance to catch on much stronger this year, but they've shot themselves in the foot.

I was more pissed off when he accused people like me of being a racist just for using the term "illegal immigrant."

He is not a real libertarian. I agree he is creepy, and he has no leadership charisma.

Or it's people so sick of "politicians" and the status quo that they like the idea of a Trump (not a politician, not "part of the system," not PC), and that idea is more important to many people than what he actually stands for. Not everything is so black and white and/or racially motivated.

Like Trump isn't a "politician", LOL. He's playing the game just like all the others now. Hiring KellyAnne (sp?) Conway is proof of that.

However, I can certainly see people being fooled by his act.

Given Trump's track record, it's pretty hard for me to believe it isn't a "black and white" issue.

Yes, most of Trump supporters are white, and a lot of them are angry, but they're also sick of "politicians" and the status quo of government. I don't see how you could disagree with this; many people see Trump as a departure from your Bushs and Clintons and Obama.

While this illustrates his hawkishness, or also illustrates how little he really knows. He wants to expand the number of fighter jets to 1,200, Even though there are already almost 2,000, LOL.

There was a law passed that requires at least 1,900 fighters......

Misfit, I agree with you on a lot of your comments on the equality topics that come up in here, but you do seem to be very hypocritical in defending blacks and then going and saying the same thing about whites and thinking its totally fine or "stating facts". But when someone states ACTUAL FACTS about a certain sample of the African American population (eg: "5. Blacks are more likely to kill cops than be killed by cops. This is according to FBI data, which also found that 40 percent of cop killers are black."), in your eyes they are being a racist bigot.

I think "race" is actually a social construct, and doesn't actually have a definitive biological basis.

However, you deny that the color of people's skin hasn't been a basis for discrimination over time? You think that sort of discrimination and the repercussions thereof have just disappeared?

The only reason I "seem" to focus on race is the crap that pours out of some people's mouths in this thread.

I suppose the thing I just posted about the military was race related, since I "always" post about race?

For ****s sake, I'm an Anthropologist. We have entire classes based on race, class and gender and how they affect social institutions and public policy.

If you don't think perceived "racial" differences have affected institutional and public policy over time, you are blind. :)

No, but saying that these white Trump supporters only support him because, as you put it, they "see their hold on the electorate disappearing" at best fails to address all potential reasons people would support Trump in this election, and at worst labels all white Trump supporters as racist.
