Well put! I dont get enough time with them with my schedule, and now that the boy starts school Monday, I wont have him at the fire department. Kinda sucks

I like that app. I used to use it a lot but my wife is the chef here and I got tired of asking how much she put in of each ingredient. And "about this much" is not an accurate form of measurement according to the app. Lol. It works well if you put the time into it. Only noticeable difference in free and paid is the macro tracker. You can only do percentages in the free version and in the paid you can set specific grams of each as your goals.
 
I just try and simplify it by eating generally the same thing everyday. For me it is easier to eat a little more bland during the week (which I like what I eat) than constantly guessing or trying to use trackers. Put it down to paper each week. A menu so to speak

I've eaten chicken and brown rice with jalapeños for my work meal for probably the last 3 years. I generally make enough to last 4 -5 days at once and I'm done. It always seems to amaze people that I eat this every day, but I don't get why it's such a big deal.
