I ask because, 10 pounds of muscle will have less than 30,000 calories worth of tissue. Over 42 days (6 weeks), an extra 750 calories a day will give you those 30,000 calories. Even if you double that for building inefficiencies....that's 1500 cals/day. Is your normal TDEE actually more than 3,000 cals? Just seems like you won't be cutting if you have more than 4,000 cals. Keep in mind, if your body is recompiling, the fat on your body will get used as calories too....unless you supply enough calories that it isn't needed, in which case you won't burn the fat. Just a thought. You may know better.

That was a hell of a scientific reply I didn't expect anybody to comment to that level of detail. I really appreciate your interest that means a lot this is my first cycle coming back basically from dead. This is like being reborn for me. So to answer your question or statement in order for me to achieve the desired look and results. I would have to change my entire diet which I have done use protein sources such as casein and way specific times of the day only. One fish per day will be in my diet for the entire 6 weeks fish oil coconut oil olive oil and peanut butter will be my main sources of fat.. my protein sources will consist of chicken thighs boneless chicken breast steak mostly ribeye and a few pieces of pork here and there. By eating correctly and doing the German volume training I can achieve my results simply due to the fact that my friend is the biggest. I am an endomorph so I tend to store mostly fat around my midsection thighs and back. By incorporating this training which I've done before on a previous occasion I will reach my goals simplee by notating everything that I do paying closer attention to what I see in the mirror then what I see on the scale cardio will be cut to a minimum mostly liss will be used to circulate blood. I do plan on doing one or two small walks per week just to get out and get some air but the main focus is to maintain my German volume training regimen. ... more to come got a damn phone call from EU

Like I said, you know what works for you, but as others have said, seems like a lot of calories if you are hoping to keep fat gain at bay. I'd start just a bit lower and keep your plan the same as you laid out...high protein, proper fats, enough calories. I would think if you need extra calories, your body has a good store in its own fat cells and that will lean you up while you see the gains. But just my .02. I've never really bulked.

Start lower, do your hard work, and see what results you get. Kind of like dieting where people say to occur calories a little at a time so you have somewhere to go when you hit a wall...I would think the same holds true in reverse. I mean, if you aren't seeing gains you just add in some calories. But if you get half way into the cycle and realize your gut is bigger...what cha gonna do? Cut calories, stall gains and probably over compensate and the second half of the bulk won't be as good...just a thought.

LOL, you don't know how spot on you are. I am a Jr (legal name suffix) Also, I took on the Sparkss nickname almost 30 years ago when I became a licensed commercial electrician. On all of the job sites I was "the Sparky". As in, "this light/outlet/whatever isn't working, we need to trim out this room, go get the Sparky." But the nickname Sparky was always taken, no matter what Email or forum I was on. So I adopted Sparkss instead. :)
