So I'm totally getting stronger. If I hadn't broken my hand id be freaking crushing the weights.

Side note. I'm not getting enough calories for my weight gain and the calories I am getting are crap. So since I have like 6.5 weeks left I'm gonna clean it up. Lol. I'm gonna try. I have taken up snacking on almonds. That's good right? On to this mornings lift.

These are done on my back. Elbow straight up bring weight down beside my head then back up for 20 the turn my arm and bring weight down to opposite pec for 15. Burns real deep.

I know it's not a lot of weight for most of AM but right now for me it is. But it's over my body weight!!
 
Today is supposed to be leg day. But since yesterday I've been having a lot of issues with my right knee giving out. Not sure why. Whenever I'm walking up stairs I get a sharp shooting pain right in the middle just at the top of my knee cap. So chest day! Yay!

That sucks man! Hopefully it gets better

Nice session. You cant compare weight to others, im happy getting what I get, but then look at THE MONSTAR and realize I suck. So I try not to focus on others weight, just workout and reps. Make sense or am I rambling?

That one was white chocolate peanut butter. Interesting. I just couldn't pull the trigger on a 11 dollar jar of peanut butter seeing how my yummy jif is like two bucks
 
Right knee gave out walking up stairs. No idea what the heck is going on. Tomorrow I'll do some light squats but it'll probably be a back day instead. Drinking my night time shake and going to bed early.

There was a time where I benched less than what you are benching. Even with what I am capable of doing now after a decade of hard work there are guys out there like Pete Rubish deadlifting 905 or Eddie Hall getting over 1,100. Its easy to start comparing to others but you cant. Just make improvements and focus on getting better daily. You would be shocked how much progress you can make if you try to get better daily and keep chipping away. Thanks for the mentions guys and keep busting it blue!
 
I'm doing legs today. But I'm gonna do lighter weight for reps of 10 or more. BUT, I really want to pull 400 today. I'm feeling really good and nothing's sore. So yea. Maybe.

Feels so good. I know I'll pull 5 again before the end of the year. So my new goal is 600 by July 1st. That's very doable. The strength is coming back fast. My wife yesterday told me I was looking bigger and stronger. So either it's working or it's a compliment cause I spent nearly a grand on a new camera for her. Lol.

I had a really good workout. I didn't do anything dedicated like I have been because I really wanted to pull 405. I did squats and I think I worked out what ever was going on with my knee. I didn't do to much cause I knew I was doing deads a day early. After my deads I felt awesome so I hit a few sets of bis just to get that Spartan look going on.

Today was back. I forgot to write down my numbers which sucked but I was in the zone. I maintained the 8-12 rep range but I focused on getting a real tight squeeze and slow concentrated movements. Then I freaking destroyed abs. My back is finally sore and my abs hurt. But I can guarantee tomorrow morning I'll be fresh as can be. Recovery is sick right now!

We'll call it post surgery pr. My all time best was 525 just a few months ago.
 
My weakness as well, good cereal.

I am a cereal fanatic. My cupboard is full of it. Reese's puffs, mini wheats, fruity pebbles, Raisin Bran, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, lucky charms. Lol. I like to keep a variety. But the family size boxes are really only 3-4 bowls for me. Lol. They go fast.

Sounds like me. To make myself feel better, I buy a box of healthy for every sweet "kid" cereal I buy. Gotta have balance!!
 
Cereal is a must! And you can always convince yourself it's good for you. Kinda like I do with lil debbie oatmeal cookies. Its got oatmeal and dairy, not my fault what they put in it to hold it all together!

You're probably more experienced than I am, but seems like you may want to rest those legs somewhere in there. Just my opinion, and no offense meant
 
When I gained my most size and strength I was actually squatting every day. It's how I got over 400. I won't be doing heavy legs every day either. I'm thinking a 5,4,3,2,1 pyramid on MWF and then high rep leg press or just definition stuff on TR.

I really want to test this stuff.

As I said, youre more experienced. And if youve done it before with success, absolutely no reason to not go again!
 
I don't think I'm more experienced than you Titan. Not at all. And I don't really like doing legs. I just like squats cause they used to be my strongest lift. I'm gonna wing it tomorrow. It should be pretty tiring so I'm gonna get started earlier. It'll be a good test. I'm excited.

Well one thing Ive learned is that being excited about an upcoming workout makes things go better. But the other thing Ive learned, is that being excited about a workout AFTER its done, helps your mental growth, which in turn helps you push harder for physical growth! Good luck brother, Ill be waiting for your update!
 
Just finished today's lift. If I'm not sore it'll be a miracle. I freakin killed it. I'll post today's numbers and a few videos in a little while.

Gains for days lol
 
So my workout this morning was great. But first off. I did not sleep at all last night. No lie I was wide awake from 10-2 and woke up twice between 2-5. It sucked. I have no idea why. I was half way exhausted by the time I started my lift. I really wanted to see how I would feel with a full body day so I went pretty hard. I was beat after the gym. It felt great. I had great recovery between sets and I'm definitely getting stronger. Weighed in at 183.5 today.

Thanks guys. I tried to record my bench but the camera wouldn't turn on. It's old and finicky. Plus i had a spotter and I didn't wanna be like hey let me record you. Lol. I could have gotten 5 on bench but my hand was giving out. It was a lot of weight.
