Baskin-Robbins’ Flavor of the Month for July 2016 is Oreo Birthday Cake.

The ice cream flavor features chocolate cake flavored ice cream, Birthday Cake Oreo cookie pieces, frosting bits, and a candy confetti ribbon.

Still trash IMO.

It's like any generic ice cream in the 140-180 range (many)

Light mix ins, mediocre bases...
Steep price for what you get

I retry once a year hoping lol

I had that Oreo and Reese in a cup thing a few years back and it was good

Chocolate and brownie loves rejoice. This screams your name all over it for those who are chocoholics. Personally I would of enjoyed a sweet vanilla ice cream base to really separate the flavor of the brownies. The chocolate base was great, and the brownies were spectacular. You can't complain on the quality Salt & Straw brings to the table. I personally would of enjoyed a chocolate fudge swirl (like frosting for a brownie) or a vanilla base to really enhance the flavor of the brownies. Good, but Salt & Straw offers better flavors.

Grade: B -

all macros from IC on this day is totally legit :)

also, marble slab is in the US too... had one right by my house in Pitt for a few years before coldstone booted it out ha

fair point ... all American owners for the most part. CDN born players are still among the best, although Finnish players dominated the last rookie draft lol.

the scandanavian countries as a whole are really pushing the normal giants (US/CA/RUS)... can't wait for the world cup this year. the north america team (all the "kids") is gonna be hella fun to watch.
 
All you have these amazing ice cream places and I'm stuck with ****ing Sweet Frog (which isn't even ice cream) or store bought. Damn it America
 
Ample Hills just came out with an exclusive new flavor, All Puffed Up. Marshmallow base with maple cookie dough and chocolate caramel crunch.

Because I'm never home and can't count on it being delivered on the exact 1-2day window I would have to get it without having spoiled milk/soup.

This pint was win from the very first scoop. Breaching the top of the pint was a 1" shard of almond brittle, soon to be followed by loads more. The consistency of the mix-ins from salt & straw in all 5 pints I ordered were on point. Packed to the brim and were there to the very last bite. The amount of flavor in each and every bite of this offering made it incredibly enjoyable. Not only was the vanilla base great, everything else just followed suit to form a masterpiece.

Grade: A+

I didn't take pictures but had Ample Hills Ooey Gooey Butter Cake on this here National Ice Cream Day. F-N Loaded!

Haagen Dazs is trying a recipe tweak on Peanut Butter Chocolate. I think Canada is test marketing again.
Not in any food news feeds, but I have that direct line to Nestle

The change?
Even more PB.

Calories/serving bumped to 380!!!

It's like eating PB from the jar, with chocolate Ice cream added lol.
Still no mix-ins so it could arguably be better,
I would prefer it as such.
But to a PB/Choc fan it can't not be an A for the taste of this base.

Great simple pint. Have to agree its a killer flavor.
Have to say AH is becoming my favorite company next to Graeters. Top notch quality and you know the majority of the time it won't be a letdown.

Ben & Jerry's Pecan Sticky Buns:

Given the massive amount of pecans and sticky bun dough, every spoonful of Ben & Jerry’s Pecan Sticky Buns is going to leave a taste to be remembered. Besides the lack luster cream cheese swirl, Ben & Jerry's made a good seasonal flavor. The base is overpowered by the mix-ins offered in the pint. In regards to comparing this to Cinnamon Buns the caramel base wins. Combine the improved base in cinnamon buns and the cinnamon streusel swirl that flavor gets the upper hand. Thick Pecans and Sticky bun dough (a mix-in that needs to be used more often) were great additions to the brown butter base, but not enough ammo to win the war.

Grade: B

Agree, $5-6 in the store sure but $10-12 online will need something extra like a swirl lol
 
New flavour on the AH site, sounds kind of plain but likely still solid.

PB For President has better mix-ins IMO plus a PB base.
