When dealing with Noopept and racetams (Noopept isn't a racetam, but it tends to be lumped in the same category), you generally want a choline source with it. Some people get headaches otherwise, and some don't, but cholines have their own benefits in a nootropic stack anyway.
The cheapest choline source would be choline bitartrate. You want a higher dose of this than other choline sources (about 2g IMO), and at this dose it has been shown in a study to have some cognitive-type benefits. CDP-choline and Alpha-GPC are the two common "high-end" choline sources that are more often used not only to provide choline with a racetam, but for their own nootropic benefits. I'd recommend 250mg CDP-Choline or 300mg Alpha-GPC. Both of these are more expensive than choline bitartrate though, so keep that in mind.
As for Noopept and racetams:
I find piracetam to be my racetam of choice for math type activities (calc and physics courses, etc). 2.4g is a good dose, and more is not better, as higher doses have shown return to baseline and diminishing effects.
Aniracetam is my racetam of choice for social/verbal activities (going out on a date, giving a speech, etc). 750mg is a good dose.
Noopept is a good all-around option as well. 10-20mg is a good dose, and I find it gives me good focus and makes me want to organize things.
I'd recommend only one racetam at a time, and I usually don't take Noopept with another racetam, so I'd recommend trying one racetam/Noopept at a time with your choline source of choice.
