The epic food porn thread

I saw a limited edition Oreo flavour in Canada today at the store ..Figures it was the re-vamped Smores that I already bought from MI and smashed ...Ready to move :usa2:

I'll move with you.

Neighbours? Haha

Isn't that the worst when you get psyched for a food and it's a let down? When I tasted Smore Oreos I was like, these taste exactly like ****ing oreos, wtf?! Lol

When did you get those? I ned to stop in Aldi's Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll be on the lookout if you got them recently.

I absolutely love that store. I will spend 3 minutes getting my necessities and then spend a good 10-15 minute in the two center aisles with all the "odd" stuff.

Got them a couple months back. They were on clearance so they may not be around anymore.

Someone told me they found them elsewhere tho but I can't remember where. Some grocery store iirc

Yes, but I'm always expecting the worst when I shop at a whole food store.

I thought the bacon hab were great. Totally fake bacon flavor but decent heat for a chip

Yes, I do like the sweetness. The other one is a total let down.

I need to find the Key Lime flavor. Almost all of the Fiber One treats are great. I just hate that it literally takes two normal sized bites to consume one.

JunkBanter gives the new Toaster Strudel's a 7.5/10

Invalid Link Removed

The Pillsbury Toaster Strudel dough has a bold, buttery flavor – a lot more exciting than white bread. It’s kind of like any fried dough product, such as funnel cake. Greasy fried dough is one of my favorite food groups, so I’m very fond of the pastry itself.

The strawberry filling, which uses real strawberry puree, is not too far off from a jar of fresh strawberry preserves. It’s bursting with mostly sweet, slightly tart flavor that is easily the best component of the pastry. The filling’s authenticity goes a long way towards covering up the insincerity of the peanut butter icing

Just found these!

Just saw these yesterday at a quality food center (kroger sister company so I assume kroger will have them too).

Junk Banter with a decent review on the red velvet chips ahoy

o what the hell did they stuff these with? Nabisco Red Velvet Chips Ahoy! cookies contain a white creme in the center, but the package doesn’t specify what they taste like. Forget the cream cheese flavored chips for the remainder of this review. You can’t taste them so they’re irrelevant. The filling inside is far better. You know how I said the red doughy pieces of cookie were missing some sweetness? Problem solved with this creamy white filling. It’s very sweet but very tasty, and the million dollar question for all red velvet products becomes: “Is there any tang?” The answer is yes. The back-end tang (Good God…) makes these not purely a gimmick, but a pretty solid representation of a red velvet cake. Far from perfect, but better than many.

So, my verdict is that Red Velvet Chips Ahoy! is the superior entry to the line when compared to the S’mores Chips Ahoy! But if it weren’t for a simultaneous release, we wouldn’t be comparing red velvet to s’mores. We would be comparing red velvet to red velvet.

I had them and thought they were horrible, everyone in my family thought the same, they taste like chemicals, not often do I put down sugar but two of these were more than enough

Where the UK dudes at??

These any good? What about Hills custard creme cookies? My Walmart has a Brit section lol

So I'm not a huge ice cream fan but my wife spotted a deal on Graeter's at our grocery store so we each got a pint. Based on my knowledge from this thread and the UIC thread, I was torn between Cheese Crown and Buckeye but went with CC. I tried to persuade her to go with Buckeye or CnC but she was dead set on Bourbon Pecan Chip. All I can say is that CC is absolutely amazing. She usually doesn't get too excited about food (like I do about donuts, oreos, cake, etc.), but she was blown away too. Bourbon Pecan Chip had a ton of mix-ins but was a let down. And that's coming from a guy who has a glass of Jack Daniels on the rocks every night after work - so I clearly like my bourbon! I only had a little bit of BPC so I'll probably give it a second chance.

After this experience I am getting another CC pint and definitely pulling the trigger on Buckeye.

If you think CC is great, Buckeye is just as good assuming you love Chocolate & Peanut Butter.
Cookies and Cream rocks if you love Oreo's and a sweet cream base.
Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip may seem basic, but is truly one of their best flavors.

Welcome to the dark side of ice cream :)

The bourbon was the only one I haven't absolutely loved too. Just didn't like the fake bourbon flavor. Chips were still epic so iirc I just picked them out and threw the rest out ha

Bourbon Graeters was just a miss for me, wish accents were heavier or the bourbon toned down, just a touch.

Still. Need. Buckeye.

Made a cool creation this evening with some local grass fed beef an employee brought me. Grass fed sliders on sweet potato buns with FF cheese
