So a bible verse turns you off to Christianity?

I believe Florida law prohibits concealed carry in any establishment that serves alcohol.
He made his way in by shooting his way in. He didn't start shooting after he got in.
Florida law doesn't prohibit someone who has been investigated by the FBI twice as a terrorist from buying an automatic weapon
For some reason I highly doubt he legally obtained a Class 3 firearm.Florida law doesn't prohibit someone who has been investigated by the FBI twice as a terrorist from buying an automatic weapon
And it shouldn't as it opens the doors for guilty until proven innocent when it's supposed to be the other way around. Due process is key to protect all of us no matter what.
Look at the mess the no fly list was.

I'll have to look it up, but chances are it was a semi-automatic.ATF says he got it legally

I just heard about that.
From bbc's coverage of the events:
"Officials have named Omar Mateen as the killer. Mateen was interviewed in 2013 and 2014 by the FBI over potential terror links but the agency said both investigations were closed."
Fuggin unbelievable to me that someone investigated by the FBI TWICE within the last 3 years can buy a weapon, especially an AR. I mean Jesus Christ thats what im talking about. We dont need MORE gun laws, just dont be ****ing stupid and sell to people with terrorist connections or severe mental illness (i say severe because people with anxiety, ocd, etc). It seems like common ****in sense.
Funny you say that because he didn't buy any kind of automatic weapon. Next point.
Nothing in that article mentions an automatic weapon? An AR-15 is not inherently automatic...Well, you're wrong so

It was a preprogrammed or scheduled tweet that was set up last thurs. To claim he intentionally posted it as a response to gay people being murdered is ludicrous.
Then let's say it was a semi automatic. Still 100% legal for someone who is being investigated for the 2nd time for associations to Isis and has been investigated for terroristic threats at his work place.Nothing in that article mentions an automatic weapon? An AR-15 is not inherently automatic...
That tweet from the LT Gov wasnt posted for that reason.
I'm just saying that people should get their facts straight before they go on a crusade to ban something that's already banned...Then let's say it was a semi automatic. Still 100% legal for someone who is being investigated for the 2nd time for associations to Isis and has been investigated for terroristic threats at his work place.
Why would you be in support of arming terrorist?
Sure it wasn't. Keep telling yourself that the guy is not a homophobe who uses Christianity to justify killings of innocent Americans.

I constantly hear people online saying how it's unacceptable that people can just buy fully-automatic weapons so easily. They can't. Or that you can order a gun online and have it sent to your house. You can't. If you order a firearm online, it is sent to a FFL dealer, where you have to pass a background check to pick it up.
Are there flaws in the system that could be addressed? Yeah, of course, but let's get our facts straight and focus on the actual issues.
So he post it because the scheduling of the tweet is that important? **** that and **** that guy.
I can't help your anti Christian bigotry clouds your judgement on this.
There is no way you can draw that conclusion.
That is not what I meant by buying a gun online. That's arranging online to buy a gun in person. There are lots of people who think you can order a gun online and have it sent to your house like it's Amazon.Actual issue? Kinda like someone who the FBI has great suspicion was a terrorist being creeped out by seeing two dudes kiss goes and buying a semi automatic gun legally then proceeds to commit the deadliest mass shooting ever committed in US history?
It's common ****ing sense to not sell firearms at all to terrorist, how can anyone be for that???
Also, you've got to be joking about the online sales. I have coworkers who every payday, buy a gun on Facebook through meeting strangers and buying from them.

I will never defend an extremist of a religion who quotes what they say is "gods word" to defend murder.
Which isn't buying a gun online. It's a legal face to face transaction that does have limits and is legal in many states. It is illegal to sell a gun face to face to an individeal you that isn't legally able to own one. It's also illegal to sell a firearm to someone that doesn't reside in same state as you. Which is the law broken by the Katie Couric producers who bought a few weapons face to face in Arizona for their anti gun hit piece.
When did Dan Patrick defend murder?
This isn't trolling. If you support the use of nuclear weapons against an innocent populace then you're sick in the head. The f¥ck is wrong with all of you? Become worse than the enemy in order to defeat them? Y'all are fuvked. If I was ever friendly with any of you who believe in this type of logic and evil, then I take that all back. Done with this thread. Glad I got to meet a few good people in here though, but the rest of you dickheads can go circle jerk each other into oblivion.

And yes, potential terrorists getting guns is an actual issue. Outlawing automatic weapons, or making them harder to obtain legally, is not. Glad we agree...
So if I buy a chair on Craigslist and meet the person and exchange goods and money, I didn't use the Internet as a gateway to buy the chair?
You didn't buy it online.
Assuming that there is a check in the system to ensure that this "suspected terrorist" label can't be perverted into something broader, just as preventing "mentally ill" people from owning guns shouldn't be extended to people with depression, etc, then yes, that is a good idea.Something has to be done, something as simple as if you're a suspected terrorist you can't buy a firearm would do.
Lol you avoided the question. The Internet was used a gateway to buy it.
I swear ammosexuals are hilarious.
If I used Google to find a restaurant, did I order food online?Buying something online requires making payment online. It's not rocket science.
If I used Google to find a restaurant, did I order food online?
Your thinking is why America isnt great anymore. Its like the balls just fell off . TRUMP WILL FIX IT ALL.
What are you proposing then?Did Google not make it easier to find the restaurant?
What are you proposing then?
In such cases, should the individuals in question not have a right to a trial to defend themselves if they so chooseIn terms of buying an assault weapon? The obvious, if the FBI has legitimate reason to have suspicion that you might be a terrorist, sorry, no firearms for you.

Again, take that up with Obama. His administration has ordered the whitewashing of records identifying people linked to muslim terrorists.
Wow, you're supporting legally arming suspected terrorist here in the states? That's low and very un-American.
You can keep trying to blame Obama, I'm going to blame the homophobe with the gun.
Edit: I'll add, if I were to blame Obama for something it would be that he hasn't made it federal law that someone on a terrorist list can't but firearms.
You keep ignoring Obama's past of catering to muslim extremists. It's documented fact that you refuse to accept. Ordering open and active investigations of known muslims with ties to known extremists to be stopped and closed. The feds were doing the job you want them to do and Obama shut it down. Who does the director of the FBI answer to? That's right. How about head of CIA?
