A lot of these guys are bigger than me but I'm lean as hell. It always seems we chase what we don't have. Just human nature lol

Yep. Started lifting at 110lbs body weight and all I want is to see 250 on the scale, and a massive physique in the mirror. Then it will be time to cut for my first show.

It's not always the number on the scale (although we always get caught up in that). I'm 5'10" and last December I pushed my weight up to 245 for a deadlift contest; I was 233 this morning and definitely have more muscle than half a year ago (and it shows better). It's all in what you want. And I wanted a deadlift PR lol
 
I just turned 47, my only goal --- look even better @ 50!!!!


Plus, my daughter is 17. I'm only 5'7" so I need to look bigger!!!!

True about the scale but I never venture above 14 or 15% body fat so if I can keep that up and get to 250 I'll feel comfortable finally cutting for a show.

Truthfully bodybuilding is all in the illusion. Thats why a guy like phil heath will beat a big ramy. Once you get your waist in you always appear bigger.
