The New Product Release Thread

You have some very very muted taste buds if you think it tastes the same as a poured glass of milk in that specific example, and in either case I highly doubt it will taste like either option you pose as a possibility.

Your directly talking in BOTH cases of adding added sugars to ( in one case a little the other a lot along with honey which is still a sugar but has its own flavoring vs straight cane sugar or even HFCS/CS ) milk which is also absorbing other flavors ( IMO cardboard ****ty garbage flavor... ) but whatever. ;)

I have to take shots at cold cereal, because I welcome the rage! Don't worry I will hate on poptarts next ask The Solution :D Either way I suspect largely and this has backing a decrease in taste due to the over consumption of these types of food loaded with sugars desensitizing ones taste towards this kind of food which is why the industry constantly churns out overly sweetened foods to cater to the demand they marketed/created and push.
!

i have not had poptart in almost a year, I could care less if you don't like them or not.
Eat a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch and drink the milk. Tastes like enriched cinnamon goodness
Eat a bowl of lucky charms and drink the milk. It tastes like enhanced marshmallow milk
Eat a bowl of fruity pebbles. It tastes like enhanced and enriched sugary and sweet cereal.
Eat a bowl of S'morez, Cookie Crisp, Chocolate lucky charms, cocoa puffs etc... you will get an enhanced flavor from the cereal you are eating. But again coming from someone who does not eat cold cereal that is why your feedback may differ from mine or others on here. To each their own.

Anyone can be skeptical on a flavor or product until they actually try it. All I can tell you is what Dan told me. Thats all we know, and thats all we can pin point at this given time period. I expect it to be decent, if not pretty good. But again none of us have tried anything from Ghost at this point. Its just speculation.

You know I am just busting your chops :) <3

haha

And I agree def need to try it

I liked CTD's isolicious a good bit their fruity pebbles & that cinnamon toast crunch even comes in a cereal box O.O that was just epic marketing on their behalf anyways it tasted pretty damn good.

the milk after the cereal is maybe my favorite part...

srsly...who here doesn't notice that the milk left over is the best tasting milk in the world? yes even from just simple honey nut cheerios.

fruity pebbles is the best example of this, followed closely by cinnamon toast crunch.

anyone claiming otherwise...

I don't think anyone is disputing milk tastes different after cereal but rather the cereal milk taste is dependent on the cereal. A generic cereal milk flavor is vague and ambiguous. That's like saying its candy flavored. Chocolate candy? Sour candy? Starburst? Skittles? Gummy bears?
Reese's Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Captain Crunch, etc all leave a different taste in the milk.

Wasn't that entirely the marketing behind cocoa puffs?

As a kid it turned my milk to chocolate milk, f$(&ing magic.

ah ok, yes, the name is ambiguous for sure

I'm in UK and no longer eat cold cereal apart from breakfast bircher cold oats.

Or porridge oats and protein granola.

I have not had a bowl of cold cereal e.g. sugarpuffs, cocopops, cinnamon grahams for around 4 years.

My Breakfast at 12:00am after my fast (IF 16/8 Protocol is 3 whole eggs + 6g coconut oil + 50 g reduced fat cheddar cheese.) then I consume carbs all post workout.

I am using carbs for PCT to help maintain muscle and for lean bulking, then when I want tot cut which will be in July, August and September - maybe through to Oct or Dec I will go back to full KETO combined with the 16/8 IF.

"i'm using carbs for PCT"

what?

Switched over from cutting on Prohormones Ketogenic to backloading with carbs after being KETO for last year. I find my energy levels and strength is maintaining since switching over from fats to carbs as an energy source.

I must be the only one that just adds more cereal to the left over milk so I don't have to just drink the remaining milk. D'oh

I do the same but after 2-3 bowls have to add more milk because I'm not done with my cereal.

I literally just said this out loud as I was reading that post haha...

But seriously, cereal milk is 100% dependent on the flavor of the cereal... could be any flavor.

After reading further, it sounds like its actually going to be "vanilla milk" type... how boring.

Damn, how much milk do you guys use?

I hate soggy cereals. Even cereals that retain a crunch with a decent amount of milk, I use very minimal. Too much milk ruins cereal for me.

Just like fudge brownie is chocolate?

If it legit tastes like cereal milk I'll buy it for actual milk & cereal ha

If a company releases a fudge brownie protein, I'm am willing to bet one would say it tastes like chocolate...

How many protein powders have you had that are "strawberry cheesecake" or "triple chocolate malt" that taste like, well, strawberry and chocolate?

I have had a couple that were fairly unique using other terms

Ronnie Coleman's Pro-Antium chocolate was very unique same for his beef protein ( I was sent samples to try ) both were very rich and layered in taste

Xtreme Formulations Ultra Peptide Triple Chocolate - a strong blend of chocolates with bitters

And look at others like Cellucore with molten chocolate and Dymatize with several variations on chocolate

Controlled Lab's orig and final versions of ProNOM chocolate cupcake batter very very rich and buttery cake batter flavors.

Top Secret Nutrition's orig whey from few years ago ( since reformulated ) had a very strong Malt Chocolate flavoring it was labeled I believe chocolate ice cream? either way it was very unique.

When it comes to bar's Promax Pro's orig Triple Chocolate Crisp had a very very prominate and strong malt chocolate flavor ( dunno of their newer reformulation versions ) I thought this bar tasted exactly like that TSN whey ( their orig version from several years ago )

Now with the Strawberry cheesecake you got me there - I have not YET tried any but I mean to starting with blackstone lab's 3-whey and wasn't it Chaos and Pain who also did a Strawberry cheesecake? either way I need to try the few I seen/heard of. I am fairly skeptical of "Cheesecake" which to me is both a very bold richness as well sour notes so we shall see.

Edit: Just to add Mike told me once Chocolate & Vanilla #1 sellers for flavoring period and having tried many dozens, tho many many on the market are just simple "Milk Chocolate" with regards to chocolate - there are def many many ways to incorporate and flavor chocolate and they are not all the same.

Bpis strawberry cake has a hint of white cake flavor to it hard to explain but different than regular strawberry

I do not disagree with you.

I absolutely can taste differences in protein flavors. Not all chocolate taste the same.

It would be foolish to pass up a tasty name and just go with chocolate but I am saying the name is embellished more often than not

I have tried several different chocolate or PB based protein flavourings and was amazed how different they all were. I cant say I really hated any but there were several I would never buy again. In most cases those are the ones that had a intriguing sounding name but didn't live up to it...

I raise you blueberry muffin tops! Fortunately protean has already nailed this flavor, don't know how it doesn't get more love around here. Bring back vms and iforce will have my top 3 protein flavors ever covered!

We won't be bringing back VMS, but we will be bringing a new mint flavor very soon :)

Excellent news!

This came out of left field for me as well. I had no idea a flavor like this was being worked on, but if it's anything like BSMOC and Blueberry Muffin than iForce is going to NAIL this.
