This a specific recomendation to rascal14 issues or can be used for anyone who suffers from Anxiety?
I cannot be sure for all people but it would help many. If you never feel like having the energy to jump over 7ft fences a few times a day your cortisol is low and therefore all that comes before it: pregnenolone etc.
One thing to note is that only transdermally it would work for anxiety. Its metabolism does not behave the same when taken orally.
It's poor information overall based on what little he actually knows about rascal14's situation.
Lol, touche
Yeah I didn't order any of that, and the waking in a panic went away on its own.
Sounds good
Oh ok, because in fact i already read that pregnenolone can be good in some cases but not so good in another ones. I think theres some cases where Anxiety can be caused for an excess of Cortisol. Anxiety must be one of the most difficult diseases to deal with, diagnose the root of the problem and fix
Transdermally it works different from orally. Orally it would likely push your progesterone through the roof but not boost your cortisol and not relieve your anxiety. Weird, I know.
Excess cortisol is a rare thing. You may have very high blood level but it likely goes with a very high corticosterone binding globulin level (CBG) too. The body is taking every measure not run low but genetics and circumstances often get in the way
In that case, your test would be low too, or it would be 'normal' but with high SHBG and/or E2 or both. Cells can't take all that test when overall metabolism is low due to low cortisol(along with low thyroid). You can't have different rotational speeds on the either end of the same shaft.
Pregnenolone is wonderful for anxiety, but just adding it in can create other issues if it isn't needed. Mainly further elevating e2, which could be part of rascal's issue on 750mg of test. Or it could be unrelated and just throwing stuff in adds variables.
Transdermal pregnenolone would lower E2 in most. As you make more cortisol, its metabolism goes up and, provided enough thyroid hormones are present, testosterone's metabolism goes up too: you are living in the fast lane, literally. So you end up using your test rather than dumping it to e2 and dht or just increasing SHBG. Some people's genetics makeup favors the dump, others' favors increasing SHBG.
The best thing about pregnenolone, cortisol etc. is that you can top them off without disturbing the negative feedback loop. So A endogenous + B exogenous in most cases equals A+B. Not so for testosterone. A endogenous + B exogenous has you left with B only shortly afterwards.
