I don't believe much in limits. When you hit a wall you have to change what you are doing. Even natural guys can be gaining most of the time. Yes at different rates. Gaining muscle can be extremely complicated however. What worked before will not work later. Volume must be added, intensity must be changed, rest periods need to be shortened and you need to find ways to extend your sets. You have to keep raising the bar and constantly learn more about what works for you. It's hard and you will not always have the answers but that does not mean they aren't out there. If you want something bad enough you will make it happen. Oh hell yah there is a ton of misinformation out there but there is a lot of good info too. You just have to keep trying. These weaker ph's will add size and keep you gaining if used correctly and they are also quite safe. They are a good alternative tor those who don't want to go into full steroid use. Even so they should only be used when we reach our genetic potential naturally. That potential can be improved over time but the milder ph's will give you a nice little boost.

I wish more people realized this... so many just get stuck in one thing becuase it "used to" work... things change and you need to adjust accordingly. Great post

I totally agree with this also. Old dog mentality will just plateau you early pushing past temporary pain or adjusting because of issue what ever they are need to be done.
 
Today was a pretty good day- this weekend was spent with the fam and helping my F I L put a trampoline together for my kids. This was a big one, but enough for 1 at a time. The bungee cords used to support the bottom where a bitch to attach. I actually lost the feeling in my fingers since sunday and they have started to come back today. Grabbing anything or false gripping felt extremely weird and there were a few times on sunday night when I had stuff in my hand and it just fell. I had no feeling or couldn't control it.

Tomorrow will be the chest day which I will post (from WAF) as that routine will require some endurance and focus. Yesterday at the gym was somewhat of a waste because of my hands. So today I did single movements for my back. Rows with the Hammer Strength, T bar from the floor, rev pec deck and instead of doing db rows I tried using the t bar and 1 hand. If I was able to do this with no issues, then it was game on. The video for this movement is on AM minds. When I get home I will find the link so you guys can try it. Actually a pretty good exercise to try.

It was extremely hot in the gym today, many of us were complaining and they promised tomorrow to make it cooler. I dont want it freezing but when your trying to maintain a certain wgt and sweat is dripping off you like your running at full speed on a treadmill, while doing T bar rows, it isn't fun at all.

Wgt is still holding at 205- went to friendly's twice this weekend :yumyum:

No issues with BP, stomach, headache and the Mass is still working. Although the past few days I have felt a little weaker or more drained. Don't feel sick or have a cold, so I am pointing to the heat on this.
 
change of weather is getting to a lot of folks it seems, plus allergies are kicking in.

DAMN that place look awesome ill have to remember it if im ever down there. I too find eating clean then if you go for something like that you love it going down but feel like shiat afterwards.

Hey I just worked out fasted, massive back routine culminating in 7/7/14/21 deads with 40 seconds rest... 245 lbs I failed at 17 on the 21's though. :( no shame it's a lot of weight for this routine considering my back was very pre-exhausted.

Yah I think most carbs should be after workouts and evenings. 0 morning carbs is a good way to continue burning fat during the day.

Dips- 3 sets first 2 till failure 3rd concentrate on pure negative you probably won't get that many reps and don't think of reps on the last one just muscle contraction and negative. - first 2 sets, 18-20 each 3rd set 9

-incline db press 5 sets with one dropset on the last one

Seated flys-5 sets same incline but the last two go very slow positive and extreme on negative

- hammer strength or equivalent flat press-4 sets

Dips - 2 sets just rep the **** out of it but rest very minimal on last yes more dips you'll see why

Decline hammer strength- can use decline bench for those wanting to try this

4 sets an rep the **** out of them concentrate on form and eliminate all shoulders involved light weight

Peck deck -2 or 3 sets see how you are at this point - did 2 sets

Seriously though this was another good workout. Its actually interesting when you trick your body to see just how far you can push yourself. I normally workout in the midafternoon and this was last night after 8 pm. I usually do chest on Friday or Monday and this was midweek. The only good thing about doing this late at night, doms hasn’t hit full stride yet but I know its coming!

Could not agree more and I've seen this hundreds of times!

Take in the majority of energy WHEN YOU NEED IT. During the day focus on maximizing MPS, digestion, and health.
 
Changing workouts and doing what's not norm for me makes me grow. And actually get doms

Working on weaknesses will have you growing like a newb. A lot of weaker body parts are that way because of way you move and the type of exercises you have been using. Here's a good example, Lat pulldown is one of the most abused exercises. People often have trouble developing upper Lats because of the way they move. Their arms are too dominant and they can't feel their Lats. Pullups can be used using a dead arm hang fully lengthening the upper lats on the eccentric. Do this for a while and then try some lat pulldowns and the difference will be noticeable. You have to wake up those lagging body parts.

Yah periodization is a cornerstone of success when trying to change shape and add mass.
