KLEEN - STRONG BODY STRONG MIND!

Nevermind Dma378 helped me out on that one
Good deal!
vitagro gnr8- that mixed with casein at night time and scoop of whey. it was like a thanksgiving meal everynight lol
Yeah, that is good stuff, the Karbo-lyn is pretty close to the same for me in that aspect. However at the price online for the other stuff it is cheaper than vitargo. Unless you know somewhere I can pick some up for cheap.

Last night was a good night. I got a little bit of a late start so I kept things nice and simple.

Warm Up Complex - 3 Rounds
Squats x10
Push Ups x10
Ring Rows x10
Band Pull Aparts x10
Burpees x5

Floor Press - 135x10, 185x5, 225x5, 245x5, 275x3, 295x3, 295x3, 295x3
- Up 20 lbs from last week, weight was moving pretty quickly, no grinding reps just hard work. Shoulders is still holding together pretty well. I can still feel it while warming up, or when getting fatigued, but the improvement is obvious.

Super Set
Squat Jumps x2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2
starting to get some good height on these.
Sumo Dead Lifts 225x12, 275x10, 315x10, 335x10, 345x8, 355x8 - These are starting to get easier for me, went up 20 lbs this week here too!

Ring Pull Ups - 4 sets sub max reps - I am trying to do these daily or multiple times a week. Just 3-4 sets a few reps shy of failure then stopping before my elbow starts to ache. Seems I am able to get an extra rep or two in now before the ache so I am getting the adaptation I need.

I feel I am holding some water, I guess that is to be expected. So I mentioned I was going to have to bring an AI into the picture. I am using formestane now at 100mg a day. I also lowered my Trest dose to 50mg for now so I can stretch it further into the cycle. I was going to run Sparta's TD Trest when it comes out but it will be a little longer so trying to make things last. I may end up just increasing my EPI dose if I run out of trest though. No big deal.

Anyway like I said, I feel I am holding some water so I can't really tell what exactly is going on with my body composition. My vascularity is definitely increasing, and the pad of belly fat is a little thinner but my abs have still not returned yet. I am big, thick and taking up more space though. Legs, shoulders, arms, chest all filling my shirts out more. I will probably take some pictures Saturday or Sunday and post them up.

The water wgt will shed. plus were older and it sucks lmao!

as far as Vit it helped me to put on the wgt to get to 225, but stuff isn't cheap and when I see it sale, its too late. agree about Karbo, good stuff right there. look forward to the pics bro and looking good on the log

No doubt on the water and kind of expect that to happen in the next couple of days. This week has really seen an increase in the rate of changes so I am expecting great things over the next several weeks.

Vitargo is a ridiculously expensive strategy to gain weight - why not just eat more rice, or other carb source?? Or if you really can't gain why not up the processed foods or start adding olive oil to all your meals? Guarantee you will start adding lbs lol

this was almost 8 years ago. I used it night time with a couple of other mixes and sat well with me. Also running heavier PH at the time, so rather than waking up in mid of night with hunger pains (lol) this just hit the spot. I wouldn't run this all the time, as you said, WAY to expensive

MrKleen73 when you ordered from myprotein how long did the shipping take? Just curious how long im gonna have to go without whey. I ordered it 3 days Ago and its says its still awaiting dispatch

Mine is usually here within a week or so. They're pretty quick mostly

Yes I got mine pretty quickly. It was here in about 5 days.

So my body has let me know that it is also aware that I am 2 weeks overdue for a deload. I mentioned last week that I planned on doing something hypertrophy based for my deload. I am thinking possibly something like GVT or maybe even OLAD for a week or two. That or just throw a bunch of low CNS high volume work at them but honestly this is more for my joints than my CNS.

Oh yes as promised here are a few pics of me right now. I need a battery for my scale but my estimation would be right around 220-225 lbs definitely 225 here since I had eaten several meals. I am seeing more vascularity, and some more separation in my muscles. Plus they stay very full right now. I think some higher volume and rep work for a week or two will really help fill them out and give me some higher rep capacity to use with the new strength.

NICE TRAPS- awesome bro- those Kleen Presses ! looking good man, solid

Looking thick, strong and healthy! Yes! Those traps are solid!

The traps were the first thing that caught my eye also, looking strong!!

DEFINITELY Looking thick dude! Props!

Appreciate it Mark!

Thanks Alex!

So this next week or two I am going to be doing some BB style recovery work. My CNS feels fine but my joints could use a little lower intensity and pump based training for recovery. I think I will hit up some X-reps style sets for a couple exercises for each body part. Basically that is just picking a weight you can max out about 15 reps with and doing 4-5 sets of 10 with 30 seconds rest. By the end you get some metabolic reactions going on and an insane pump.

Looking beastly as always man. Looking forward to the gains and crazy sessions after your deload.

Thanks, now just trying to lean up. I know a little of what is on me is water. You can tell by how "soft" my skin looks and how round my face is. So I expect that to come off in a whoosh at some point. I am still not trying to crush estro, just keep it in the controlled zone. So the water isn't a surprise to me. I am thinking in about 10 lbs I should be looking pretty good and 15 lbs I should really be on point.

Got in a nice pump workout last night to start my lighter / deload weeks. I went with some X Reps style work for chest, back, & shoulders.

All sets were done with 30 seconds rest, the pump was pretty ridiculous!

Warm Up 3 rounds
Squats x10
Push Ups x10
Ring Rows x10
Band Pull Aparts x10
Burpees x5

Wide Grip Lat Pull Down - 115x15, 165x10, 10, 10, 10, 10
- done with 3 second squeeze per rep.

Bench Press - 135x15, 185x10, 10, 10, 10, 9 - I felt the fatigue setting in and effecting form here so I stopped early for shoulder safety.

Ring Rows - 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10 - 2 second squeeze at the top

Hex Bar Military Press 95x15, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10 - talk about a serious shoulder and triceps pump!

Tonight I plan to work the legs but may just go with taking the bike out and doing some sprints. My legs are always insanely pumped and worked after that. I will basically take the bike out get warmed up then put it in the highest gear and sprint as long and fast as possible then ride slow to recover and repeat several times over the course of about 5-10 miles.

Good work brother!
My bike is a piece of junk from like the 70's and its stuck in the highest gear possible. I like to put the kids in the trailer and ride them around town to get a little extra cardio. Nothing like pulling 90 pounds of children uphill in highest gear lol

Yeah and when set up right biking is so good for your leg development. Since it is getting warmer out I may just have to start making it more of a part of my workouts. I have a nice hybrid bike, I kind of wish I had gotten a trail / mountain bike though. Seems there are more places around me I could ride if I could go a little off road.

I have an old 10 speed road bike that rides like a dream except for being stuck in highest gear. I do enjoy mountain biking though. Thats one thing about living in North Idaho theres so much beautiful forest to go hiking and biking in. But my mountain bike is broken now so its just hiking for me for now.

I love hiking but would definitely have to take a drive to get somewhere worthy of a good hike.

I got hiking all around me up here.the only problem is its still snowy/muddy and wet everywhere i can hike right now. But its been warm and sunny here so it'll be drying up soon

Yeah best to wait.

Just did an hour of walking some hills at a brisk pace. I can tell the EP15TANE is kicking in, my legs get so pumped just from walking. That and my calves were starting to get a little bit of a painful pump. That is the only problem I have with the designers... they make my calves pump so bad I end up not being able to do much in the way of cardio. Even brisk walks start to become painful. Oh well if things get like that I will do more calisthenics and stuff to burn energy instead. That and adjust my calories down on Burn days.

Since I am on a deload now, I am not following the macros I intended last week. I will be keeping them lower at 100-150g carbs daily since I should not have the same requirements not lifting as heavy. As mentioned before I am seeing difference now on the daily, they are very minor but I see them. I think in the next 2 weeks my physique should really make some nice changes.

Yeah ive had to stop running cause i get retarded calf pumps lol and I've always been a good distance runner. I decided i would just have to take a vacation from running while on cycle

Well I went biking and rode 10 miles at a pretty fast clip constantly pushing the pace. Legs are so ridiculously pumped right now it is silly.

Thats a good thing :) love the leg pump from biking long distance

Yeah especially when you are pushing the pace. I wanted to make it work, not just a leisurely ride.

So I was on Amazon earlier to look at some BFR straps Dma378 told me about. Well once I got there my other recommendations popped up in my face and distracted me.

So I ended up with a new sled, some flossing compression bands, a better roller, and a massage stick. What I didn't end up with was the BFR straps! LMAO I guess i can wait a bit on the occlusion bands and use my knee wraps or something if I try it out before I end up buying them.

All good for gains!!

Yes Sir!

That sled will also help with the fat loss since jogging and long walks seem to be starting to give me pumps in the soleus and tibialis anterior. Last night was my off night. I spend my Wednesday watching Empire with my wife and daughter. It is one of the few moments my daughter isn't at some activity. It feels really good to just sit down and have some snuggle time on the couch. Even though she is 12 my daughter still sees me as both a jungle gym, and a huge body pillow. Just depends on her level of energy.

This is the one I got, has replaceable skids and can be used on any surface including concrete. Holds over 600 lbs, and my daughter can ride on it! Might have her hop on and push it, then have her hop off and push and take turns while walking the block. She will enjoy that. Anything that gets her involved and enjoying the time is good.

When my two year old hears anything out of the ordinary he comes running lol

Nice sled .... would love one of those
Yeah, I have been wanting one for a while. Just finally used myChristmas, and birthday gift cards to buy it on Amazon. Only 159 shipped well to the US not sure about Canada. I have a 2.5 inch x 25foot climbing rope I can use to do upper body pulls, a set of rings for pushing and pulling with it then of course all of the leg based stuff you can do with them it should be pretty awesome to play with.

How cute, being at that age they are so fun too.

DADDY!!!!!!!

Last night I did a lower body workout. Kept it inline with the deload weights, and just focused on getting good contractions and blood in the muscles.

Body Weight Squats 25, 25, 25, 25

Single Leg Leg Press - 240x10, 10, 10

Leg Press 400x 25, 25, 22, 19
- just getting a good pump, this is the first time I have used the leg press attachment on my universal machine and it worked well. That was the whole stack, starting position was knees to chest so I could get as deep as possible. Just went to a really nice burn but stayed away from failure.

Standing Single Leg Curls - 80x12, 12, 12, 12

Hex Bar - Low Handle Dead Lift - - 225x20, 20, 20, 20

My son is supposed to come over tonight so I can work on his bench form with him. He has been working out for about 2 weeks straight now, going in with his granny. He said he has never been good at that and it frustrates him so we are going to work on it so it isn't a factor in him sticking with it. Knowing that, I decided to do the legs yesterday and work the upper body in with him tonight.

He is 21, genetically his structure is nothing like mine though. He is naturally thin and had a GH deficiency when he was growing up so he is 5'2'. He is hoping to be able to add some muscle, get around 135-150. Just have to see if he sticks with it. If so and he wants my help I will help in any way I can.

Sounds a lot like my boy. Built nothing like me. 5'8", 125lbs. before he started working out. Has put on 20lbs. in 6-7 months though and looking much thicker. Pretty awesome to share the whole thing with them. A bond that I'm sure I'm way more excited about that he. Never know how long they'll stick with it, but hopefully it just creates a bit of a mentality that they can use and come back to at any point in life.

Get him on some rHGH lol!
With a dad as motivated as you I can't imagine him NOT seeing some progress or sticking with it!

Yes definitely, there are a lot of lessons to be learned through hard work in the gym that can carry over to the rest of his life.

He was on HGH from about 9-13, then I lost my job and insurance so he lost the HGH. After that my other insurance wouldn't pick it up since it was a pre-existing condition. By the time we could get him back on it they tested his bones and said that the growth platelets had already hardened and he wouldn't get any taller.

He doesn't live with me so he really doesn't get to work out with me. I think if he did he would probably enjoy it a lot more. He asked me about supps to make him grow. I told him work out regularly for 6 months then we can talk about a supplement plan, but you should make plenty newbie gains during that time. I will probably give him my left over creatine from before I stopped using it though.

Yeah my son didn't start working out until after he'd moved out (19 yrs. old). But I just got him on a good pre and some creatine and said eat boy!! Got those newbie gains rollin'!!

That's pretty awesome Mark!

I did an upper body day Friday, helped my son with his form on bench, and signed his Grandmother on for a workout plan. Not a bad night. :)

I was going to do all my chest work with my son but when he got here he just had time for me to show him and work with him on his form. Then I had to go in to talk to Granny about her goals and what not. So I will end up doing more push work today. Basically ended being mostly pull work.

6 rounds x 10 reps each no rest
Squats
Push Ups
Ring Rows
Band Pull Aparts

Ring Chins - 8, 6, 5, 5, 5
Banded Lateral Raise x failure

DB Hammer Curls 20x25, 25, 25, 25
Banded Rear Lateral Raise x failure 4 sets

I am really struggling not lifting heavier right now. Everything in me is saying push the hell out of this but I know my joints need some recovery. Trying to decide if I feel good enough to jump back in the deep end or take a second week. Decisions decisions!

Yesterday I went to the gym to play a little bit while hitting the push muscles and arms.

Warm Up on Stairmill

HS Incline Chest Press45x15, 70x12, 90x12, 115x12, 12, 12

HS Regular Chest Press - 115x12, 12, 12

Pump Work
Dips 25, 25, 25, 25

Lateral Raise Machine - 65lbs x100 reps - 40, 20, 20, 20

Preacher Curl Machine 50lbs x 100 reps - 40, 20, 20, 20

Triceps Ext 70lbs x 100 reps - 40, 20, 20, 20

I finished of with some Push Ups, Planks, and Stretching in Sauna.

I just used my voodoo floss band for the first time. It is uncomfortable to do, but seems to have really loosened up my elbow and knee. I thought it was a set but it was just one so I will order another one.

Where did you order from that you only got one? I need some soon. You're doing the right thing keeping your joints happy. That's such a constant struggle.

Take another lighter week, or at least half of one. To the point where you are so hungry to go heavier you will have zero doubts questions or regrets about getting back to it. If you go back to it too soon you might second guess your decision but if you keep holding back til the point you go nuts next Thursday you are going to have some very productive training. Joints will be ready and so will your mind.
