Overall this is another signature flavor off the Ample Hills line. A legit creamy and soft vanilla bean base loaded with mix-ins. If you missed out on this limited flavor I feel bad for you. Ample Hills is known to get creative with their ice cream flavors, but it goes to show the quality they pack in basic flavors. Vanilla and Chess Pie Pieces were spot on. I would have no problems scooping this again if they do release it.

Grade: A-
 
Saw a Graeters gelato the other day and hadn't before so I picked it up as the flavor sounded great (caramel truffle).

It wasn't bad, but not worth buying again. Mix-ins were pretty pitiful. Only 800cal for the pint, though.

i have reviewed all of them.
Truffle was great, but they are not like regular buckeye or their premium pints.
 
Gelato shouldn't be Mix-in heavy

But then I'm a guy who likes and appreciates Sicilian pizza (just cheese)

Prob is I know your 100% srs and I am dumb enough to do it without having a job lined up just to eat DK and Paula's donuts everyday.

Good news for Ample Hills Fans...

After some bad luck with pints.. this is the response I got from one of their reps from Customer Service

" think there are times when the people doing all that pinting have become sloppy and not made sure that each pint was packed full of cookies, etc. We've gone over it with them and I'm hoping it won't happen again. But please do keep us honest, and let us know if you see it again.

In the fall we're planning to open a much larger production facility where we'll be able to manufacture pints in a lot greater volume... One of the benefits of that will be that we'll be able to standardize and guarantee how many mix ins get into each pint. We'll be able to stuff them full!"

Start looking for jobs man I've told u a million times and when you have interviews u can crash here, u don't live that far

I had the pH in and phebes cookie butter Blondie it was great..., the base is cookie butter ice cream with honey pecan Blondie's it was great

Rocky road brownie filled with maeshnallow
NY cheesecake filled with strawberry

New DQ flavors for the future look like a B&J core series rip off don't know how they will pull it off or do it

My local DQ has the Royal Oreo with the core. I saw it on a sign, and also thought it was B&J ripoff. If I went, I'd have to get the oreo Smores though.
 
Not sure i could do both lol. I don't handle dairy that well.

OG Smores was the best blizzard, I can't wait to see if this is better. My daughter just had a oreo blizzard cake for her birthday, I tried to talk her into Smores cake.

I had salt and straws lucky charms based ice cream... So unique, u even get an party flavor from the base with tombs of marshmallows.... Burped a little later and tasted exactly like lucky charms gaha so weird, sorry, no pic I'm a failure
 
Haagen Dazs Sweet Cream Coffee Caramel Ice Cream

New Orleans based coffee, a thick Pralines and Cream caramel swirl, and hints of coffee in every aspect is how I would describe this pint. Haagen Dazs blew this one up for coffee lovers in the ice cream market. How Haagen Dazs managed to combine the light roasted new orleans coffee flavor into the swirl and sweet cream base was magnificent. Since Coffee flavored ice creams are rare, this was one done with high quality and deserves a high grade.

Grade: B+

But the breakfast looks 100x better LLN got to experience all of the new flavors and said the movie theater and PB 4 pres were weak

Agree on the breakfast...

Munchies & movies are so similar though...diff base but same mix-ins
 
Cinnamon Buns:
Caramel Ice Cream with Cinnamon Bun Dough & a Cinnamon Streusel Swirl

Pecan Sticky Buns:
Brown Sugar ice Cream, Pecans, Sticky Bun Dough, and Cream Cheese Frosting

Much different pints here fellas.
 
For me
brown sugar > caramel
And I'm sure sticky bun hits my doughy mix-in need
