I bought a supplement that sadly contained this. I thought I had tried l-arginine in high dosages so this couldn't possibly be a problem but clearly I was thinking in ignorance.
If I take 2 grams of agmatine then it literally feels like I have inhaled helium. I've heard of others on this forum ingesting much larger quantities when reviewing products without a single complaint which makes me a bit suspicious but maybe I am just not well-adjusted to the increased nitric oxide.
Is there anyway to perhaps decrease the absorption, such as maybe ingesting it with a protein powder or something? I really don't want to waste those money, but I too do not want to fall to the ground and pass out from poor blood supply.
Yes, it could be something else than blood dilation that causes my problems but I don't think so. I don't think it's neurotransmitter or blood sugar related.
