The New Product Release Thread

I'll never forget the first time I took beta alanine. Probably 8 or 9 years ago I got some bulk powder from trueprotein and without thinking about it took 1/2 tbsp. Lol didn't know what was happening to me!!

I hate the tingles

Even 500mg BA for me and im like "wtf why are my ears on fire?" 1g and my nuts be on fire. BA the greatest thing next to Caffeine frm a business stand point bc it give you that "must be working" wow factor but it does actually do something at the right dose. Win - win for companies.

Closest to me is over 2 hours away it sucks :(

When I go to TJ I usually drop 150-200$ due to not being able to visit often

Work 1 minute from trader joes. They have the best and "cleanest" snack products. That cowboy bark is unreal. My wife hates when I buy it because we both devour it.

I'm sure this was mentioned somewhere in this epic thread but the oh yeah one bars are phenomenal. Almond Bliss is my favorite bar I've ever tried.

They taste like an almond joy in protein bar form

Tried the bark last night that stuff is dangerous

Like a chocolate covered pretzel / brownie / toffee and Oreo fusion

Ridiculous

I personally don't care about the supp details too much to be honest, I just want to try the VPX Bang RTD/Powder bc I heard their flavouring is amazing.

It is amazing almost every flavor is great!

Sent him the cowboy because it's the better of the two imo; even though I really like the cowgirl bark as well. Also, white choc, cranberries, and ginger are all flavors that only some people like so didn't want to take risks.

Btw, you folks raving over protein bars...take a step back from your fears of fats/carbs and eat some real candy/sweets.

The data is not fantastic on beta alanine. The original data is borderline horrible. All about them feels

It is still ISSN board recommended, and the studies passed their panels to be yet again in the latest text,

I guess I'm curious about your cynicism here, aware us?

My comment was just a question anyways man,
No worries

Just wanted to hear his side of that comment, which is "against the grain" and BA is generally well-liked and found effective.'

I am not using it at all atm, nor do any of my associations, just like discussion :)

BA itself is a good supplement if taken with , creatine , arginine, and leucine on studies helped those using increase rep performance. but again, some of the studies showed conflicting results ie, the variability in doses used, duration of supplementation, variable exercise protocol.

makes me want to bang my head against the wall- again, we have proof for the use while we have flaws that show the proof has been skewed.

supplement industry, aint it great LOL

nice-

i used it in the past, but immediately gave me the flush and tingles. i believe it worked because i used it several times more but the flush and tingles werent for me. for me, any product that contains BA, i stay away from-

driven, we need to simulate the effects of BA without the tingles and flush- get your chem set, be over in a few LOL

But I love the tingles!

More marketable: add the tingles to anything else, sell, everyone automatically assumes its magical,

Profit.

BA is worthless for any activity with duration inferior to 60s, like working out. For sprints, HIIT it may be worth it though

Zero issue if that were the case, I'd still mark it down as effective but maybe not suggest it to average lifters.

I know AM is BB and PL centred, but athletes are reading here too

Well no crap. Combine one bulk product with 3 other variables and i hope it is much better and you get much more out of it.
seeing creatine is the #1 studied ingredient on the market, and leucine is the most important BCAA out there. Yeah i would hope BA would be enhanced when you stack 3 other variables with it

just like people that say oh this pre-wrokout or non-stim pre-workout is not helping me much
then they stack 2-3 other products with it and magically they see a difference. (for example stacking a stim with a non-stim, bcaa, and creatine product)

I did that with bulk ycl...nearly had a heart attack...but the boner was unforgettable!!!!!:sgrin:

Ginger boyy The Solution better like ginger lol

This statement makes no sense unless your sets are lasting many minutes... Hiit is basically the same as lifting. Bouts of high intensity with rest. Rep rep rest, rep rep rest. Sprint rest sprint rest. Exactly the same.

Think more like distance runners, cyclists, certain sports athletes, etc.

I wouldn't be passing up on BA if one of those were my passion, for how little it costs.

Ya this makes sense. Saying hiit is the way to go tho is backwards.

Like I have said elsewhere, 10g of BA split in 3 doses throughout the day give me a noticeable strength increase. Weight gets easier to control too, especially at the end of the the set and when adding reps I won't get without BA. It works from day 1 for me but I have to take large doses. I tried 3.2g and 6.4g daily for weeks on end with no results. When you solve 3 or so grams in 18oz of water and sip it, the itch is hardly there.

Some people will always swear by BA, and for them, even if its placebo (which is SO much easier when you "feel" effects upon each dose like with BA)

I say keep it up lol, i'd love to have more placebo in my life if it meant gains ;)

Just take carnosine and avoid the tingles.

The data on beta alanine when I really looked into it, showed very minimal results on 400m repeat sprints. Even then it was only on the 3rd run out of 4, was very random. It may be ok, but if it wasn't for the tingles, would sell 1/5 of the level it does. You can make a no tingle version, it's about 50% more in raw material cost
