Oh yeah, years ago before I married my wife I had to make an emergency phone call (before I was good at google) and ask a field how I stop those stupid smut links from popping up in the search field thats popping up my favorite smut sites on my wifes personal computer? LOL

Yeah, good use of VPN, better than getting in trouble for those legal torrents you may need to download that are mistakenly considered copyrighted or some you may be unaware they had copyright and stuff.

Tbh I purchase all of my software etc, and usually purchase movies that I really like, to support them and to have access to them in the cloud in HD. I use software professionally so it definitely makes sense to have stable releases.

National Sales tax on goods purchased, not taken out of income. The low end of income earners get a "prebate" and therefore keep more of their money. Don't pay taxes unless you purchase something.

I dunno if you guys ever got audited before, but I feared the IRS more than my life when I had people after me with guns (just being the wrong place at the wrong time on multiple occasions.)

Ill take the risk of gun violence over the IRS any day. Id rather be in the middle of Iraq fighting terrorists than getting a letter from the IRS. LOL, its crazy isnt it?
 
Let's be honest, if everyone got to choose what they wanted to pay for, it would be nothing. The playing field would be so uneven it would be chaos. Infrastructure would be even worse. Education would be even worse. Have a bunch of elderly people in poverty (even worse). Yeah yeah Mike Huckabee wouldn't get to shiit on a golden toilet seat which would be great, I just can't see it actually helping anybody but me me me. And mine mine mine. Sure, y'all libertarians can dream, but it's hardly even a functional dream and certainly not relevant to the real world. One of these days reality will have to be swallowed by this sect. Also funny that the military that you want to spend even more money on so we're at least still #1 at something in the world, would also go to shiit.

Government by nature is corrupt, let them force us into their corporate services your bound for corruption, bankruptcy, tyranny from armed beurocrats, and reduced freedoms and Liberty.

This is the thing, the average individual understands that we need road and bridges so they would be willing to pay for it unless they just want everything to fall apart but that's their choice. Taxation is thief no matter how one spins it, also it is immoral. Aldo the private education system is doing well which is privating funded by individuals. The closes thing we have had to a libertarian utopia was the constitution era, which by definition were true classical liberals and min anarchists. To say a true voluntaryistic ot libertarian (the philosophy not the fake modern Libertarians) society wouldn't work due to no one wanting to make it better because of greed is assuming everyone is greedy and selfish which would be a negative generalization of the public based on one way perspective IMO.

I don't understand why everyone thinks everyone is bad or selfish yet trusts government generally (which will always be made of people, speaking of a utopia ;) ). The majority of the population follows laws because its seen as moral not because they fear incarceration. Even though this government is corrupted, saying that is must be fixed would be assuming this isn't how it should turn out but history says otherwise. This is the government, this is how its so pose to be and always will.

The fair tax is far more advantageous to rich people, people that already have expensive things.

See, since they already have all of this money that hasn't been taxed due to loopholes for earned interest and capital gains, they get to keep even more of it. If they already have a mansion, a boat, cars, etc. they don't need to buy one, therefore they don't pay taxes. They'll easily be able to pay taxes on whatever they need.

However, poor people will be forced to pay taxes on everything they need, even though they make far less.

Flat tax sounds good on paper, but it would be a nightmare for people who aren't already rich. In fact, I think it would prevent anyone else from becoming rich.

Going to have to disagree. Believe me I'm not like super grateful that my money is taken either. It is what it is. And maybe it's not fair, but I think you're over assuming people's generosity.

So on a volunteer basis, we would still have to send or give our money to some organization or service, where it is run both those crappy corrupt humans. Well it surely isn't going to be as much as it is now, leaving even less to use for its purpose. We would go from bad to worse faster than you could even imagine.

All Im asking is let everybody else choose what charity they want to participate in, including if their only interest is their own. Its none of your or governments business what people do with the fruits of their labor.

Unfortunately, yes it is. It is the government's job to look out for all the people. Whether it does or not is a different story. But as far as being the government's business...that's pretty much the definition of its business.
 
Hell you would even have people fuking themselves out of their own social security. It's the "it doesn't effect me now so fuk it" world we live in. Hell a great part of the population in this country thinks the rapture is coming soon so fuk the future anyways.

I'm a dreamer too. A world where everyone takes care of each other of their own accord sounds great. Pay for what needs to be paid for, jobs for everyone, guns for everyone just for fun.

It's just not reality. And that is where I'm forced to live.

SS is going bankrupt, my own statement says so on the front page that Im only getting 75% of what the statement says Im supposed to get in 2035.

You would phase it out, give people that bought into it refunds or something and get out before its too late.

If you care about the future you would want a sustainable economic model, not one of forces taxation and large expensive out of control bureaucracies.
