Paradoxical effects of antioxidants on cancer (i.e. both preventing and promoting cancer growth) have been described for a long time (e.g. Invalid Link Removed, Invalid Link Removed). The upshot seems to be: if you have cancer, they're probably not a great idea.

Yes, many people including myself use NAC for liver support which was why I posted up the article.
The scary thing is that skin cancer is so common, and can be tough to diagnose at first. Many people are unaware that they have it, and this supplement can cause it to rapidly spread.
