Did quads today. Same routine as the last time. I did notice though that 3 caps is affecting me less so Monday I may try the full four. Weight was down to 124.6 this week which is nice considering a few weeks ago I was at 130. Retaining a little water these next few days. Trying to eat clean today and tomorrow to make way for possible Coldstone and pizza this weekend. Maybe a few lobster rolls thrown in the mix.

On a different note I wood burned for the first time today. Working on a project for hubby's work. I'll take some pictures once it's done
 
So this weekend was fun. Had class on Saturday. Got a quick chest workout in with the hubby then we swam for 20 min. He's been working on his stamina for work so I helped him with this workout. Sunday we went to the beach. Everything was great until we decided to come out of the water and go get lunch. I walked right through a moon jellyfish. It's the third time I've been stung so it wasn't TOO bad but it did hurt quite a bit. Rinsing off with fresh water makes it worse, but I did it anyway because I needed to get the salt and sand off. After that fiasco we went to a place called Boston's which has the best lobster rolls I've eaten. Even beating the ones up in Boston! Then we got Cold Stone icecream as a treat for being a good sport when I got stung lol. Pumpkin Pie in the Sky is amazing, just saying.

Today was back day. took 3 Stimul8 as usual and crushed it.

High cable lat pulldown with V bar 15-12-8

Seated Cable Rows with Wide grip lat pulldown bar 10-15-8

Barbell deadlifts. This killed me today. 140lbs for 10, 135lbs for 12 and 150lbs for 8. 150 is the most I've ever done. ever. 20 min after this and i'm instantly sore. like it hurts to bend over sore lol. its going to be a long night and even longer day tomorrow lol.

Finished with single arm hammer strength plate loaded rows 8-12-10

Did 15 min of intervals on stairs and 15 min on elliptical thingy. 10 min in the sauna and now eating post workout meal.

Rest of today is wood burning, homework and laying on the couch lol. Happy Monday everyone!

Did you like Venice? I heard folks don't like it there either lol. I'm a bm3 but about to medically retire on October 15th

Yesterday was chest/shoulders

CHEST/SHOULDERS:

3 - Pec Dec Flies: 15 reps - 12 reps - 10 reps.

3- DB Incline Press: 10 reps - 8 reps - 8 reps drop the weight and choose a weight that you can immediately get for another 5-6 reps.

3 - DB shoulder side laterals: 15 reps - 15 reps - 8 reps dropped to another 5 reps with a lighter weight that you can just about get an additional 5 reps with.

3 - EZ bar upright rows: 3 sets of 10 reps.

3 - DB front raises superset with either Hammer Stength/ DB/Barbell shoulder press: 8 reps each set for three sets

3 -Reverse Pec Dec for Rear Delts: 15 reps - 10 reps - 15 reps.

I just purchased Oxymax XT and Shift. Going to see how that helps with fat burning. My body needs a jump start lol
 
Nice workout. Not sure if you have had anything with Forskolin in it before (if you have disregard). If not ease into your Shift dosing - as it can be a little unpleasant with your digestive system at the start.

Thanks for the heads up! Never had forskolin before. I'll start with the minimum dose and go from there. I just plowed through 45 min on the stairs after a killer arm workout. Totally forgot to do abs and calves today. I think I'll walk the dogs for extra calf work. 3 stimul8 had me fueling today. Never made it to 4 and with Oxymax coming I'll take it back to 2 caps. I love this stuff though. By far won me over as best pre workout I've ever used.

Yesterday was Quad day.

Started with some bike warmup followed by leg extensions. Everyone else decided to do legs so I grabbed the hack squat and did my "smith squats" on that for 2 sets. Then I did ascending leg press and started with a 35lb plate on each side. I did 4 sets of 20 reps adding a plate to each side each set. Then finished with 3 more sets of 5 reps. Capped it off with some front squats and headed home to eat.

Hubby and I went out to Olive Garden last night. Woke up weighing 126 which isn't too bad. Took my first Oxymax and Shift this morning. Energy has been awesome. Sitting in class now and able to multi-task this post and the lecture. Excited to see how things go.

On different note, I accepted a job the other day and should start right about the time I retire from the CG

My apologies for the lack of posts everyone. Tuesday ended up being just a cardio day as I started obedience training with my German Shepherd puppy. Wed was an off day. I got hit with a migraine and also spent the whole day in Miami doing retirement physical and dental appts. Today is another off day as the migraine carried over. I'm feeling better, will be sticking to my off/cardio day diet and back in the gym tomorrow hopefully. I also think I have horrible form on my deadlifts as my lower back still hurts after Monday's lift. I watched some videos, read some articles, know what I was doing wrong and next Monday I will be using lighter weights modified for my height and will work on perfect form. Same thing happened with my free squats when I started and was able to fix those rather quickly.

Oxymax and Shift have been awesome! also, just an FYI, I can still take 3 Stimul8 after taking 1 oxymax and 1 shift in the morning....simply because I'm just that badass (j/k lol). Stimul8 has been so awesome I let my husband bring a few samples to work so a few coworkers can try it. I also bought the new Dana Linn Bailey fat burner and will try that after oxymax to compare. I'm a big fan of them and what they stand for so even if it doesn't quite compare, its another tool in the bag.

my weight has gone down to 124 since starting oxymax a week ago which is awesome. I finally broke that 126 plateau which was making me upset. I ate two Cadbury eggs yesterday so I couldn't break the 124 this morning but I should be able to do that tomorrow lol. **** is about to get real with work starting in a month or so. I haven't worked in two years and have enjoyed being home every day lol. It's time to be a grown up again!
 
So today I did back but scrapped the deadlifts as my back was still sore from last week. Today I took the new Dana Linn Bailey preworkout as my husband hijacked my Oxymax and Shift lol. So I took two stimul8 instead of 3....probably could have done the three though. Oh well.

Lat pulldowns 10-15-8-20 reps

bent over single arm DB rows 10-12-8 reps

Seated cable rows with lat pulldown bar (wide grip) 10-15-8-20 reps

T bar rows 10-8-12 reps

Back hyperextensions two sets to failure.

Oxymax and shift with 2 Stimul8 has been amazing. Back when this log started I was around 130. That was mid-late August. This morning, after a killer leg day yesterday, I woke up at 122.8. It feels amazing to be back closer to 120. Both shoulders have veins now when I lift. Back when I was leaner only my left had one so I'm leaning out pretty evenly now. I do 15 min of abs twice a day. This weekend is class, maybe the movies and some cheat meals to fill back up from a relatively clean week. I even ate some cereal last night!

That's the best I got for ya with the tenderloin. It looked like crap in the crock so I took it out and cut it up. It tastes amazing. Slightly dry but it's pork, and it's just sweet enough to compensate. Super easy. This weekend is beef stew, one of my specialties. I'll take photos of that in the crock pot!
