Who will be Mr. Olympia 2015? - Topic of the Week

Wolf has to get the upper hand here. He has so much more size AND the conditioning
 
Ya gotta think they just stick with Phil but wolf def deserves serious consideration. Knowing there's some politics and favoritism tho, it'll be phil
 
The conditioning on these 212 guys is incredible. I wish half the big boys looked as good

Flex. Jose might be a touch tighter but flex has him and everyone else just crushed in sheer size, symmetry, poise, and just overall aesthetics.

I don't mind Phil over him but not Rhoden or Dexter. Rhoden wasn't better size or conditioning and Dexter had pretty much equal conditioning but not the size. I'd have put him 2.

What's with everyone's belly? Wtf, I didn't know it was that bad. I usually watch live in Vegas except this year and the last.

BTW I loved that they had a good server for the livestream. Didn't have a problem connecting and the quality was awesome
 
I had to refresh about 4 times when the quality of the video scaled down. On the bright side, instantly it was back to high quality.

So pissed for Wolf, though. Not right at all.
 
I hate how much credit people give Ramy. Yeah the guy is symmetrical for the size that he is bringing to the stage but he always brings conditioning that is completely under par.
 
That guy Dexter. I'm just amazed. There were some poses that I think he beat Phil on. He was the best conditioned in my eyes and at 46 yrs old... new #lifegoals.

I didn't think the guts were as bad this year. Seemed like everyone took note of everyone's (and Arnold's) disapproval of the prevalence of big guts on stage and tried to tighten up.
I definitely think Phil's was noticeably tighter. Ramy was clearly struggling to hold his in, even in the abdominal/thigh pose.
I also think Shawn could've taken 2nd over Dexter if his midsection had been as tight as it has in the past. Unfortunately this weekend his abs looked a little more distended than usual.
I don't know where I'd have put Wolf though. They all looked incredible.
 
For me Phil is a reasonably good representative of the sport to the outside world ("clean looking," marketable, Jay Cutler-esque way, etc. - though don't get me started on how right I think Arnold is about the need to return to more aesthetic physiques).

Why I'm not happy with Phil as Mr. Olympia is because he just isn't that motivating. He appears to be kind of opportunistic, like 'oh, I have great genetics for muscle building, I'll quit basketball, which I'm not as good at, start lifting, hop on a bunch of gear/slin/GH, etc. and become Mr. Olympia.'

His training is not motivating at ALL. Ronnie Coleman by comparison is a super motivating in his videos and also clearly loves bodybuilding.

For Phil it's more like he's a "professional" bodybuilder, it's a job to him more than a beloved sport like it was to guys like Arnold, Jay, or Ronnie.
