hash browns? Once i move to my own place next week i'll be back to my daily college fast break meal of 2 pieces of bacon, 5 eggs, 3 egg whites, 2 pieces of reduced fat sargento pepperjack cheese. I cannot wait. Work out day and i throw in a bagel.
 
It's all a mind game. Gotta learn moderation, meaning a snack is a reward. Greek yogurt with protein powder is my crave buster.

You have to train yourself. I've been there, and currently I've trained myself to eat crap. IF is my preferred method to re-train.

Had to make one more trip for more pipe, and I'm about 1 8' piece from being done with the plumbing. Then, all I have left is installing a switch and tying it into the pump. So close...

There's no training to Will Power. It's like drinking, smoking, etc. You get it set in your mind you're going to quit and you quit. Guess I'm old school...lol and the military instilled the fortitude that you can do whatever you put your mind to.
And no, I'm not saying you have no will power. I'm saying you just really weren't ready or willing to quit because you liked the flavor...lol

Come on man, post that paper! Sounds very interesting. I've done IF before and it definitely works.

Will include my powerpoint too, there are some graphs and other graphics on there that supplement the paper well. My college laptop is a POS so i dont have time to deal with trying to boot it up right now lol, but ill get it out tonight and see if it works without blowing up or me throwing it out the window because of how slow it is.
 
Rest day. Low back has been right since digging Saturday so I decided to put squats off another day.

IF is going well. My feeding window is 12-8, and I'm following the Invalid Link Removed version if anyone is interested in looking into it. Tomorrow may be a struggle, squatting at 0400 and not eating till noon. lol

I wasn't able to get in here today, so I'll check in on everyone's logs tomorrow.

Dinner will be blackened salmon. Got it on a killer deal. I also found a market close by with locally caught wild fish; mainly mahi, trout, red, and snapper. The salmon is farm raised, but I couldn't beat the price. Better prices than the super market for sure. Great find.
 
That was by far my least favorite part about IF. Early morning lifting then not eating for like 5+ hours. Plus its annoying taking leucine/bcaa every hour. I much preferred IF with one meal at about 10-15% of daily calories pre workout. Obviously only plausible if you work out after the feeding window starts.

And nice find on that local market! Sounds pretty awesome...i love fish

Some good deals on fish man. I can't do farm raised Atlantic dyed ****. I grew up on wild caught sockeye.

It was pretty good. We don't get a lot of fresh salmon down here. At least not without spending a lot.

Starting at the 240# I spent three minutes briskly walking on the treadmill between all sets. Once I hit 340 I rested 2-3 minutes following the 3 on the treadmill. This kept my heart rate up, an think it took a rep out of my AMRAP. PR anyway...

Also, I don't know what I was thinking last night, but my carbs were way low. The tuna was over a salad and I had no other sides.
 
Cardio plus low carbs and a calorie deficit = PR?.... this math doesn't add up

Awesome job on yet another PR! The fish looks good! I really enjoy IF! I get more hungry some days more than others but overall it just works better for me! I got so tired of eating all of the time and carrying half of my house with me to get all of my meals in! Plus with my calories about 1000 less than they were in the winter, it doesn't seem so drastic! Haha

IF does wonders for my diet. As long as I don't let my calories get TOO LOW, I should be ok. I practically workout fasted already. It's the following 6 hours that get to me...
 
Rest day. I have to get back into the football schedule routine and plan one of my rests on Wednesday's, following kiddos football games.

It was a wet one, and we got spanked.
