Lol and it's ONLY my squat. The other lifts are increasing, but nowhere near the rate my squat is. For example, I've added 5lbs to my OHP estimated 1RM the past 35 weeks...despite putting on noticeable amount of lbm.

Dealing with some quad tendinitis. Looks like I overshot my MRV (maximum recoverable volume) this mesocycle. Gonna take the rest of the week off squatting and any quad dominant accessory work. I HATE missing out on scheduled work, but it's for the best.

Week 15 is a deload. Week 16 I'll be back at it. Weeks 16-20 are lower in volume anyway. Time to hit big weights...I hope.

I believe he has diagnosed you with too much quad squeezing outside the gym, leading to quad tendinitis.

Ah, I see. 100% joking aside, it's a contributing factor. Not trying to be funny in the slightest. Training is the biggest influence though. Been pushing a bit too hard too fast

Yeah you're getting your strength to the point where intensity will need to be lowered closer to 60% to keep your frequency up or you'll have to drop a day of squatting. In the interim, wrap that knee and smash the quad from hip to kneecap with a barbell as hard as you can. You'll hate me for a few minutes, then you'll thank me.

And yeah, I'll going to lower my frequency while keeping similar levels of volume next training cycle. Should help.

Posterior chain = wrecked.

Quads/knees were achey, as expected, but it was nowhere near as bad as Wednesday. Thinking I should be good to go after this deload.

Can't lift tonight, so I'll make it up tomorrow + Sunday. No biggie.

And I hope so too! I feel very strong right now. I would hate for something stupid like this to set me back.
