A RAD sponsored log feat. Olympus UK's Radar1ne

I didn't really set a goal weight for this cycle other than maybe 5 lbs. Well I've surpassed that and figured I'll put a specific goal in place. Weight has appeared to have stabilized around 217-219, which is already 5-7 gained. I'm going to push my goal to 224. And I have 6 weeks to get it.

Side note, I'm experiencing more joint pain mainly in the elbows, than I ever have. BB Curls are super painful and I'll probably stop doing them. I need more support if the weight is going to be heavy.

I'm noticing a bit of joint pain myself here and there. There are confounding variables involved, aka other compounds likely at work, but it's interesting you mention it. Any idea if it may be related to RAD for you, or if its just strength related and the muscles have surpassed the joints as far as conditioning goes?

I'm hesitant to make the claim that it is the RAD that is causing it, but I am suspicious for a couple reasons. First it just came on suddenly in the last couple weeks, and I have been increasing weight steadily for quite some time. Also, while I make good progress on rowing/pulling movements, curls progress very slowly (damn long forearms), so there has not been some huge increase in weight on curls that would put my joints and tendons under some new stress.

So I am suspicious of it, but I know there are dozens of variables that can come into play. Interesting that you are experiencing it as well.

So I barely had a little bit of a couple different marinades, so I just combined them.

Chipotle Mango Teriyaki it is!!

Smells like it should be good, we'll see.

For a second, I thought it was chitterlings.

Great Shoulder focused workout. PRed on DB Shoulder Presses. Got the 95's for 5 clean reps. Alternated between heavy and hyper trophy moves. Finished with 10 minutes of stretching and 20 minutes of moderate inclined walking. After just a couple stretching sessions flexibility is coming back a little.

Damn I got to go hunting to see your workouts lol nice lift! Soon ull be hittin hundos for reps!

The best chicken and fajita steak marinade I've had has been half lime juice and half soy sauce. I could eat that chicken all day every day.
May have to check that out at some point.

What part of your elbow is hurting from the curls? Also don't be fooled into thinking that the increases on rowing and pulling are not hitting your elbows hard. They are but it is probably the direct tension from the curl that lets you know there is an issue. What part of your elbow hurts again?

If it were from the RAD, I would think it would be more systemic in nature. IE all of the joints and tendons that you push hard would feel more stiff, or sore. Then again you could have been on the edge with your elbows and it pushed them over. I definitely hope it is not the RAD though. I just got to feeling good again. Don't want to brittle up my connective tissue.

It is all on the inside of the elbow, where the little knob is.

I have thought the same thing, that it would be in more places than just the elbows. It just seems suspect that it showed up out of the blue. A bit in the wrists as well.

Do you have a rolling stick? Roll your forearms and see if that helps. If you don't then have your lady roll your forearms with a rolling pin. See if that loosens things up a bit. While she is rolling it move your wrist back and forth and also twist it or rotate it while pressing down the sheer will help to release any knots. If something is pulling it tight across there where it connects it will cause a lot of pain there but the tightness is normally in the forearm not the actual biceps.

Could always use a few new moves.

"Hey honey, grab the rolling pin and follow me to the bedroom!!!"

Ha. You should try it. Just say that and then disappear into the bedroom and see if she follows. She may bring a spatula and some olive oil too.

Depending on the day the results could be favorable. But they could also be dangerous. A risk I'm usually willing to take.

Haha, the grammar nazi in me wouldn't let me spell it like that!

Excuse me... that is grammar Nazi! ;) Nazi is a political party, so it gets capitalized. How you gonna make a grammatical error when claiming to be a grammar Nazi! LMAO! ;)

:redeemerwhore:

I hate sore joints winny doing a number on mine right now

Yeah, winny is a biatch! Makes connective tissue brittle, lower the weight and increase volume to take some of the risk to the connective tissue out of it.

GNO am I doing it right?

Apple Pie smothered in PB, because 'Mericuh

That looks amazing!!! Two of my favourite things, and I'm not even mericun.

I'm trying very hard to imagine that taste combo because I'm so far away from being able to eat something like that. #cuttingsucks.

I just want to follow up here and say that just going into week 2 on RAD is when I noticed it, and it wasn't always on the movements you'd think. I first noticed it in my elbows while squatting, with a close grip pinching my shoulder blades together. It's not a pain, it's just a noticeable feeling. I am personally not concerned, I'm noticing no other real joint or tendon issues. Maybe some slight cramps and pumps in my back and side, that I attribute to the Halodrol/Furazadrol. Which, while mentioning them, could likely be the cause of my elbow discomfort, and Dma and I just coincidentally are experiencing the same thing. It's possible. Just had to throw that out there!

MrKleen73 I agree with your statement bro. Think you nailed it.

Haven't been in here for a few days and this thread just gets more and more active haha. Keep up the great work man :)

He's just my PB porn lover. Speaking of Canadian relations, 'tis the season for some Chip Nuts.

Yes PB & Apples is sooooooo good!

Well it was nice a soft from the microwave. But not too soft. The PB was so thick it was still firm, but melted in your mouth when it combined with the warm apple glaze. And the flaky crust gave that texture change that made it not only taste good, but feel good.

But don't worry, I don't think you would've liked it.....:sgrin:

So many possibilities with PB and Apple Pie. Throw in a rolling pin....pure nasty!!

Good Back workout this morning. Felt really strong on BO BB Rows and Lat Pull Downs. Was more of a HT day for other accessory movements. Although I intended to go heavy on some Alternating DB Curls and just wasn't able to with the elbow pain. The pain seems centered in the elbow, but during the curling motion it kind of shoots down through the outside of my forearms to the wrists. So went for Cable Hammer Curls with a rope, and that position and movement created ZERO pain or discomfort. As I think about it, the tight lower back has been a daily nuisance since about the same time as the elbows. Connection? I don't know. It is still suspect. Need more feedback from other users.

Sleep is outstanding. Good dreams, which is a rarity for me. And groggy out of bed until I hit the monster cups of coffee. Also uncommon for me.

Sitting 219 for the 2nd day in a row, so the upper range of the weight I've been fluctuating may be holding. ALTHOUGH...I do feel a bit bloated. May hit some Adex today and Friday and see if I shed some.

Took 20mcg of Clen PWO this morning and WOOOOO, stuff is legit as a PWO. Sweat like a mofo. I already sweat like a pig, this stuff puts me on straight ridiculous looking. Like Tren, everyone pretty much knows something's wrong with you in the gym.

**** man... Clen PWO. Bet that was intense!!!

Never tried it PWO... Hmmm tempted to get some now haha

That's only how I'll use it from now on. And maybe only once or twice a week. That way 20mcg always works.

Take it with whatever PWO concoction I mix up.
Don't like it as a daily fat loss product. Had a scary cramp that turned me away from that forever.

I used to get a similar pain like that with cambered bar curls, it would shoot down my forearm and it would hurt for days. It was just from the way my wrists and elbows were angled with that certain bar.
