Cooking with whey

I have only purchased the No bake cookie MTS machine whey and wasn't impressed.. Will trade a 80% full tub to anyone with a reasonable protein 4 protein offer

i only found that one best as a shake. The Red Velvet, Caramel Sutra, Key Lime Pie and PB Fluff were all very very good. CnC is a bit different, very dark in color but has a strong milk and cookies taste . like you dipped a cookie in milk.

Yeah I agree.. it doesn't bake well- and when you try to make protein sludge it gets really rubbery and slimy.. KLP sounds HNG tho

Exactly what i agree with with no bake, in sludge or baking its kind of meh.... loses flavor fast. KLP has small graham cracker pieces which are legit.

CNC is really good as a shake. Probably one of the better ones I've had, and I rarely have shakes. Agree that the sludge consistency is a bit off.

Ya this is spot on for nbc. Klp is better than you could even expect.

I tried No Bake Cookie in sludge and a shake ... was not too impressed with either. It is the only MTS Whey flavour I have tried I would not buy.

Besides No Bake Cookie, I have tried KLP, RVC and CnC so far.
1. KLP
2. RVC
3. CnC

I will be trying Caramel Sutra soon...

Wonder how much different it'll be? Frankly, if it was just stronger and more "cookie" vs light chocolatey it has potential to be really good.

I would be open to try it but would not invest in a tub before I can try a scoop or two.

I would rather get RVC or PB Fluff first...

not according to sources and guys that have beta-tested it
i know a guy off another board and this is what he said.
"I've tasted these when I was doing GEAR TV with Jeff the producer last year and they are ****in' amazing."
^^^ Quote word for word.

I'm also going to agree that they probably won't taste anything like the real stuff from Cold Stone. Still would give them a try though.

i love it. i like to add a scoop or two to pancake mix when i make pancakes. i try to limit how much i cook whey to avoid degrading of it though

I wouldn't buy the no bake cookie even with an improved flavor.. I still have a ton left in the other that I've had almost a year now hah

COR-fetti is my #2 COR after smores. Of course I have not tried CCCD, someone was going to sell me one but backed out :(

you know I'm brining you some next week right?

Oh and 6 full products and a hooded sweatshirt for free is not being nice?
ok bro...

Haha, I was just busting your chops bro... You know I appreciated it.

Also did some things for you too ;)

You never tried Mint CnC???
I know you don't like mint but not even a scoop? Every once a while you do review a mint ice cream...

Nope
And his CnC was good, but does not top Beverly. GNO here are my rankings since you ask how Cinnagraham was out of 10, its ok, but it does not pack as much cinnamon flavor as cinnamon swirl, or found in PES Snickerdoodle. Pumpkin Pie is by far the better flavor by a long shot as described in my video.

You get a legit libby pumpkin and then a nice cinnamon aftertaste very similar to coldston's ice cream, no joke. its a replica in a shake/protein powder.

Have you ever tried it.. was pretty artifical tasting.
AI NO Whey is PEA Protein, it is BEYOND thick (great for sludge) but PEA Protein or plant based proteins have a chalky after taste.

I do know another company working on a Pumpkin Protein right now, and if they do come through with it, I have very high expectations. But honestly marc's will be damn near impossible to top. I kid you not it tastes perfect. Huge pumpkin taste right off the bat washed down with a nice cinnamon/clove/ginger/nutmeg aftertaste. everything binds so perfect together. If you ate a pumpkin pie at thanksgiving and then drank one of those shakes it would be identical.

I honestly am still baffled how he did it, Its ridiculous.

katie marc's wife wants me to bake a pumpkin cheescake with it. thats on my agenda.

Hahaha bob wtf is PEA protein? It's pea. Like a pea. Like the veggie.

Yup, thats it. It actually has a really nice amino profile iirc. High leucine content. Peas naturally have a high amount of protein for a vegetable. I bought some unflavored pea protein a year back and the issue i have with it is the texture. It's gritty like the inside of a pea. Tough for me to drink.

^^ This.. its used in vegan protein powders as well (vega)

He is saying its spelled Pea, not PEA.

Protein Pow uses pea fairly often and I've always wanted to at least try it for the types of recipes I keep seeing it in

Good joke on Gears part:
