Top 5 "must have supplements?"

Yeah doesn't look good on the surface. Couldn't find any info on the full text right now regarding to what extent those were impacted. Maybe I can dig up some more studies/info later. Regardless, impact of those factors by any measurable means prob isn't a good thing.

And I was just about to order more Fearn : (

Might have to find bulk PA. It should also be noted that Soy-derived Phosphatidic Acid, Lysophosphatidic acid AND Phosphatidylserine are sufficient to induce an increase in mTOR signaling per studies.

I know Nutra sells bulk Phosphatidylserine.

PPAR agonists will act one way when they are being used in a scenario where PPAR is activated naturally, ie fasted, ketosis. As soon as someone uses them in fed(glucose/carbs) state PPAR's opposite, Sterol regulatory element-binding proteins SREBP's will for lack of a better term win out or overpower the PPAR activation. The article above explains in much greater detail. Basically the reason PPAR drugs have been a disappointment not due to lack of efficacy but lack of the proper nutritional environment users provided.

Basically at worst lecithin would be better to be used in a NON carb rich environment when looking for PPAR benefits. As far as lipogenesis I highly doubt SL used preworkout is going to cause fat gain as the conditions in the body during an intense workout would almost surely not be ideal for this to occur.

Actually too much, sometimes grossly so, and the wrong forms in many Multi vitamins.

I stopped use except for a few single vitamins and focus on getting over 5 full servings of fruits and veggies.

If one was absolutely set on a multi I would encourage a reds/greens product with individual vit/min added if one KNEW they needed it ie low D blood test. Healthy individuals have historically been getting almost everything they need from food. We of course are not normal and MAY need more but I for one do not need 100000000000000% of cyanocobalmin or 800mcg of crappy folic acid. That is the problem high doses of certain things in crappy forms.

Danes any chance you can chime in on this?

Danes is busy ordering more soy granuals...I'm sure he'll be with you shortly : )

In all seriousness though, that study is from 2009 with no other follow up research to validate those claims and the mechanisms of which they are not even fully aware of in the study.

Its always good to stay informed, but the number of benefits from the content of SL far outweighs one random study imo.

**Oh, and for whatever its worth, I actually lost bf to a very noticeable degree while on large doses of SL over 4 months or so, while concurrently gaining muscle. One heck of a recomp if I don't say so myself....need to update my profile pic soon : )

I mean every macro we eat will cause lipogenesis and adipogenesis if the wrong amounts are eaten brb dumping my protein it might make me fat.

But those gainz bro....

I hope the sarcasm showed through lol. I am not about to dump economical source of quality protein anytime soon.

I would hope not lol...and yeah, its Monday, but I'm not that dense haha

No. No need to jump to conclusions like that.

lol....on one hand you have a thread with 100's of guys saying what great results they are getting....on the other hand you have one study.

study's are like opinions...if you look hard enough you can find one that says what you want it to, imo!!!
