Bob if you're ever in CT, let me know. There is a Farm here I'll take you to, Rich Farms, who makes their ice cream right there on the farm. I guarantee it will be some of the best ice cream you will ever have.

Gelato Fiasco Raspberry Truffle Sorbetto

The Sorbetto is very light in texture, much lighter than some of the other Gelato Fiasco offerings I have had (Blueberry, S'mores, PB, Cookie Therapy). The texture seems airy, very light, and literally melts shortly after you take your spoon to the base. The Chocolate Truffles were more along the lines of thick chocolate chunks. I came across at least a dozen of them throughout the gelato from top to bottom. A fantastic raspberry base with some thick chocolate chunks with great flavoring for only 170 calories a serving is a winner in my book.

Grade : B+

That's what impressed me the most of the GF pint I tried so far... Taste & quality at such a low calorie count compared to some other premium brands.
Leaves a bunch of room for other foods too.

GF is really pricey though...
The pints I bought in MI were $7US. Online they are $10+shipping.

At those prices the CC is not a bad alternative even though it's not as good.

New Orleans Creole Cream Cheese Ice Cream:

Even with no mix-ins to rave over the base alone in this pint provides a reason to pick up New Orleans most popular flavor. Right away if you are a cream cheese or cheesecake fan this will be worth a scoop. Think about eating the center of a NY Style cheesecake without the crust, and then you get a semi-sweet sugar aftertaste of a delicious vanilla flavored ice cream. Put two and two together and you are presented with NO Creole Cream Cheese. Cream Cheese in an ice cream base done to perfection. While I did not have high hopes before scooping this, Adrian the owner, proved me wrong and presented me with a choice I would recommend.

Grade: B+

In other news I tried halo top vanilla bean ice cream and was thoroughly impressed. Anyone else tried this stuff? Low sugar and decent MPC protein content. Kroger sent me a coupon for a free pint, usually $4.29

My gf has been raving about it. The lemon pound cake flavor is her favorite tho. I have a vanilla in my freezer now actually. Got mine for free too ;)

Wow that's big. My gf isn't all that picky so I take her opinion with a grain of salt. I've been delaying eating it for a few weeks tho so it may have jumped onto today or Wednesdays list ha
 
Yeah.. 240 cal and 24g protein... easy choice. I mixed in some Select PBC about halfway down just to spice things up... win. WIN.

Talenti Hazelnut Chocolate Chip:

If you are looking for a very creamy, chocolate, and crunchy offering Talenti basically perfected it with Hazelnut Chocolate Chip. Massive amount's of chocolate chips in every single bite, a hazelnut base with a small chocolate/nutella aftertaste, and legit chunks of hazelnuts thrown into the mix. There is a lot going on in each and every bite throughout this offering. With the surreal amount of mix-ins this placed right near the top next to Sea Salt Caramel in my opinion. I was very pleased with this and have no doubts I would offer or suggest this to anyone out there.

Grade: A-

I haven't tried it (or any Talenti) but that will be my first one too (and soon). Two of my friends had it this weekend and LOVED it. I think Bob gave it a pretty solid review as well. Oatmeal raisin cookies are one of my favorites

Overall if you are a Speculoos fan, this is a must pick up. Steve's offers a very unique coconut cream base that is very bold in flavor and dense in texture. The Egg, Dairy, and Vegan free option really made me skeptical at first, but I have no doubts this is my favorite Cookie Butter offering I have tried in ice cream form. The Cookies are in a larger abundance compared to Ben & Jerry's and the Trader Joe's version (small specs), and offer a nice ginger/cinnamon aftertaste. From start to finish I would not hesitate to re-scoop this pint in the future. If you have never tried Cookie butter, or the cookie butter cookies from Trader Joe's do yourself a favor and get your hands on some immediately.

Grade: A-

California Plaintiff Brenda Freeman alleges in the Arctic Zero false advertising class action lawsuit that the company deceptively labels and markets its frozen treats as having only “150 calories per pint.” However, recent independent laboratory tests performed by EMSL Analytical, Inc. indicate that the frozen desserts contain up to 68% more calories than advertised, including Artic Zero Chocolate Peanut Butter. Another example, Arctic Zero Vanilla Maple, has 46% more calories than the 150 calories prominently advertised on the front of the product packaging as well as on its nutritional label, the class action lawsuit states.

These are the same allegations raised in a separate Arctic Zero calorie class action lawsuit filed by another California consumer in August.

Better off putting artifical sweetners in a jar and freezing it. or eating a jar of walden farms and putting it in pint form.
 
Had gelato fiasco almond butter choc chunk test.... Verrry good, tastes just like almond butter with the same creamy base and tons of chocolate just like in their hazlenut or espresso chip

Honestly the new flavors are much improved but the choc/pb choc are far and away the worst. Almost tasteless.

The coconut is nice and actually quite creamy. Key lime pie is decent but very light. Cookie dough is decent and has ample mix ins especially for the cals. Salted caramel is ok. Not very caramely tho. Vanilla maple is good but very basic and very sweet.
