TGR's Modified PowerBuilding v2.0

Nice work man. And driving you upper back and head is completely different you want to keep the head kinda tucked while pushing the elbows forward and driving the upper back out of the hole.

Weights are going up nicely bro!
Continual progression and constant PRs.

Definitely working hard buddy!

Thanks man.

Gonna work on it. May do some back squats after my front squats in a couple days.

Thank man.

Neighbor is on board with the artesian well. That's awesome.

Replacing boards on my front and back steps, and all my dewalt chargers aren't holding a charge. It's irritating. May break out the framing nailer.

You tend to squat high from the standards I've experienced at USPA meets (like L&S said, just BARELY). Now SPF, if you come up with it with less than 4" over parallel you're g2g, so you can always find a fed to your liking, but so you know.

I spent the entire previous training cycle learning to squat higher to a box for the SPF meet I just did because I knew the tow straps would be so high if I buried it I'd hit and miss from loss of balance. I just got depth but I'm literally only 1" over the strap bottoms lol

That's why you get the Milwaukee 28volt lithium set for Christmas! Yes, I got spoiled with my tools. I don't own any Dewalts...

Hey Register,
What type of Pioneer weight belt are you using?
I'm looking at a Power Belt and 6.5mm.

I'll get deeper next time. It's likely because of playing with my stance. I shouldn't have issues at 335.

Mines an INZER 13mm lever. (Next will be a pioneer). I wish I had gone with the 10mm, but this one does just fine. My numbers and form on squats and dreads both jumped after getting it.

Called it quits. Lost all energy. Too much work in the sun yesterday wore me out, I believe. Didn't want to get out of bed this morning.

It's been a long time since I've said 'F this, I'm outta here'.

Despite a PR, I'm disappointed I didn't hit 10 reps. I almost went for 8, but was 80% certain I'd fail it.

Bicep feels tender again. It didn't affect my lifts, but it's irritating nonetheless. I'm 3-4 days in on Max Pump, and I'm starting to believe that pump products contribute. Not going to take anything pump related on back squat or bench days.

PR days are, by definition, never crap days. Better than you've ever done before is good enough. One of these days it will stop raining PRs in Florida and you'll have to grind twice as hard to add 5lbs to your rep PRs over the course of a month. The only way you can stay in the game mentally is to celebrate each new accomplishment. Nice day.

True, true. Thanks man.

My previous 7's PR was 230 in May. Just seems like it should've been more, and I think it could've been on a better day.

Always great work Thomas! So glad the neighbors are going to go in with you on the well! That's great news! One of these days, you need to get a little rest in maybe?! You've been one busy guy!

Rest is coming. Today is the first I've felt overall fatigue, and I will likely rest tomorrow or the day before DLs.

Thanks Kat.

Rest day.

3 garages? You suck...!

Ordered 10# protein powder from NP today. The price was awesome at $71 shipped. I may take some in with my coffee as a creamer, so it should last a while.

I might get into baking with it tho.

What brand?

I'll wait and see what you think before I purchase any. What flavor?

The Select PBC is the best I've found. Will be interesting to see what you think of Nutra brand!

I don't expect any equal comparison to Select. They are top notch. Maybe an economical alternative for someone who eats a lot of solid proteins, though.

Doing a farmers walk immediately before Delt destroyers was stoopid. My forearms just didn't want to participate.

I hope doing a little grip work doesn't impede my pulling tomorrow. Also, they better not have my bar occupied.

I guess today was international bro day, or they are all taking training tips from Ian. Everyone was doing arms.

Thomas! Impressive as hell! Those reverse grip skulls would have torn my arm tendons! Congratulations on yet more pizza PRs!

Thanks Mark! I just gotta get my hammers up there at least half of what you do!

And here you are curling what i was using for incline db press last night.. great work in here

Looked like a great workout! DB bench was great, the CGBP was heavy for that many reps(building those tri's!) not sure I've ever tried a reverse grip skull crusher so kudos there...bro!

Works the grip nicely. Thanks Brian.

You mixing that powder with a bit of water for your creamer, or just stirring the powder in your coffee?

Im addicted to ice coffee from my Keurig. Going through 6-8 kcups a day though

Right now it's 8oz almond milk, 1sc choc protein, and 2tbsp PB2. Tastes pretty good. I prefer coffee with just a splash of almond milk to not sweeten it, but it's good to get in some pre-cals.

Heavy close grip work man, that's a good price for protein. Post up how you like it man.

Thanks man, and I definitely will. Gonna make some pancakes and brownies with it this weekend too.

Back in college i ate protein pancakes pretty much every day for breakfast. You cant go wrong. Get the kodiak cakes pancake mix. Mix in the protein. Throw a few eggs in. A tiny bit of almond milk or regular milk. Some fruit or other mix ins if you want. Peanut/almond butter on top. Boom, pure greatness. Fast, easy, delicious.

I just watched a vid on hook grip. I was doing it all wrong. Gonna play with it tomorrow.

I hope I feel 530...

Get it reg!

It's gonna happen. About to eat some homemade pizza and chicken baked with a cracker and chopped almond crust.

Up at 0315!

Looking forward to doing the hip work that Capo, Sean, and JSwain posted recently as a warmup.

We both said it. It has to happen now.
