Does anybody know of any good books on carb cycling i want to read up on it .l want to make sure i do it right

Only one I really know of is the Shelby Starnes one.

I suppose Kiefer books could be considered carb cycling as well.

Great read. Thanks for posting

Absolutely. I would only use it as a guideline though. One, fats are too low, I think 33g is suggested and two, remember that the article is probably geared more towards enhanced lifters. No pun intended.

There was a guy about 10 years ago on these boards "SwoleCat" that had a diet called SwoleGenix (I think that's what it was called) that was virtually identical and had great success amongst its users.

I might try it

33g is crazy low for fat! Crazy!

100 grams of fat here as a minimum. 210 lbs. 10-11% year round. Low carb guy.

I take in 200 grams at least 3 days a week. Lol.

Screw "low" fat.

On my low carb days, no more than 80 grams, I have over 100 grams of fats a day. I love my nut butters, coconut oil, nuts, and recently, avocados.

Ditto - don't forget the grass fed beef and cheese.

I added red meat back into my diet a few months ago. Never thought about getting grass fed. I go with 93/7. If the prices are similar, might have to try the grass fed.

It can be expensive. Depending on fat% and sales, $6-10+ per pound is common around here.

^^ grass fed taste and cooks much better, and the quality seems better too. Love me some organic grass fed beef for GAINZ!
