Focused Nutrition and the Stanley Cup

An epic series so far. My first hockey game I went to was a Ducks game back in '93. Go Ducks!!!!

I had told my daughters we would take them to the drive in for Tomorrowland and Pitch Perfect 2 on Saturday, drive in is over hour away. That means home by like 130 am.

Umm lol, now what.

So here is how we can play this now. Those that picked a team that is in the cup can pick the winner BOTH in games and total goals. This way if two people or three people have Hawks in six the total goals will determine the winner! Fair enough????

Gotta agree with this. Tb is good but I think at this stage experience and proven talent will beat out youth and excitement.

That said, chi is definitely waaaayyyyy more banged up so the longer the series goes the more I'd tend to favor Tampa.

Pick: Blackhawks in six
Hawks- 23 goals
Lightning-19 goals

I still worry about the Blackhawks' defense wearing down given the minutes they are playing, especially Duncan Keith.

I gave everyone until last night so any edits on the post will be disqualified and we will see who wins GO HAWKS. Glad to see you guys are having some fun with this.
 
So pissed that I fell asleep in the recliner Weds night and missed the game. Like beyond angry lol.

I tend to favor tampa if it goes longer... chicago hands down has the experience but theyre banged up, older, and could be just tired by the end of it. I think anaheim really took it out of them. They also don't ahve any depth (or dont use it) so that plays a huge role

Anyone read deadspin? I always like the style of writing over there, so I get most of my sports news from their direction.

Anyway, I was reading a piece from last night's game and one of the commenters said the Hawks coach is 30-30 in playoff series games 1-3's and 41-14 in 4-7's.

I didn't verify it or anything, but if that's true, that's the telling statement right there. Wear 'em out!

Sorry been away for work. Actually was in downtown Chicago last 2 days. Didn't get to go to the games, ticket prices were just too crazy lol.

My hotel room window faced Sears tower and it was cool to see the top red, and see all the Hawks flags flying everywhere.

I would agree with this is chi wasn't so beat up and running such a short bench. That would scare me if I were a hawks fan (that they'll be too physcally beaten to win a game 7)
 
Yeah, I'm sure that 6 game series with Nashville (with those multiple OT games), followed by the 7 games against the Ducks took a lot out of them!

I was downtown for meetings and the traffic was absolutely insane haha
 
I'm outside the city for work and thankful I don't have to go near it ha
 
The times I've been downtown it hasn't been nearly as bad as the traffic trying to get IN on the interstate. Hated that.
 
Tuesday was nuts too. Took us 50 mins to get from Hyatt Place downtown to Mccormick Place via taxi.

Almost jumped out and used rental bikes.
