At the airport right now, today I wanted to run a test, I took another dose of shift (2 caps) 20 min ago, I'm feeling really warm from inside but apart from that no other side effects, obviously I won't be hungry till tomorrow now hahahahahah
I took it atef 1h and 40 mins in had lunch tho. And the fact that it's not giving me any side effect is really great :)

Good deal brother. So many quick junk snacks and options when sitting at the airport. Shift should be helping to stand your ground. :)

I've been good, stick to the diet and I'm in Rome and did not even have my missus 's bday cake hahah
She understands me, she's like me:)

Anyway woke up and took my dose! All good and I'm still even leaner! Diet as usual!
 
I have the option of training today cause my gf wants to train, question, should I train? Keep in mind that I have done all my training that I usually do in 7 days already in 5 days, from Sunday to Thursday and I have done my cardio all days for 5 days instead of 4 times, should I train or not? If I won't train today I'll train next time on Monday, I'm a bit tired though but anyway I have fear to stay too long without training

Oh, I am stuck to diet so no problems with that.

This morning my missus wanted to train so

Woke up 8am
Shift taken
Bed + morning sex hahahahah
Sleeping for 2h
Then breakfast
Then after 1h

HIIT+ cardio

Boom I feel greaaaaaat!!!

Btw I had a slice of cake yeste Day night and today I'm even leaner loooool!!! So all good guys then I also had my select pre sleep

On the cardio now, today was supposed to be 100g carbs day and I will stick to that

One question, should I still go ahead with my plans regarding the cheat meal in Monday night? Or should I stay away since I had a slice of cake yesterday? It was not small but not even big...

A slice of cake ain't a major cheat I would roll with it an enjoy a meal and then back on track

I love that we are both in that smooth sailing state of carb cycling. I feed off others who are in my boat. This is week 6 for me about and it just comes natural like waking up in the morning. I'm at the point where I don't really notice too much in a few days more like a week but from Saturday to Saturday wow is all I can say!

This was Thursday night midnight roughly lol when I took out the cake for her and yes confirm I didn't have it but then yesterday night and the party with her friends I had a slice lol hahahah so that was too good I had a taste and hen ate it all :)

Great I'm in week 5 and yes progresses are noticeable but as you said week after week and sometime the mirror is witnessing the shift effect ha!

So just woke up and shift taken :) can't monitor the weight since I have no scale here lol but mirrors is still fine :) hunger is 0 lol
 
ok sadly back in the UK

yesterday night i had my cheat meal

double burger with peanut butter, bacon, goat cheese, onions, tomatoes
onion rings
fired sweet potatoes
fried seasonal potatoes

then I had 2 chocolate cookies with tea ahahahha

today I see myself no really lean to be honest but I trust you guys and your advice, this will improve my metabolism and my diet in a good way.

I took my dose of shift and i am waiting now to have my breakfast, today it should be 200g carbs day, I will try to stick to the diet so i will try to eat 200g of carbs but I think It will be difficult lol, i will do some cardio too tonight at the gym even if today it was not supposed to be done :)

so far so good.
 
update, scale says......

71.6
8% fat

so 3 kg more than last time i took my weight looooooooooooooooooooooooooooool ok, probably all the water that carbs hold in and cheat :)
 
Just get back on your plan diet and training wise, do not change any other variables. Just trust the process.

that is for sure, today it was my 200gr day, I will stick to it and training too but I would like to add some cardio, this was even mentioned on that article :)

PS, the onion rings were GREAT! ahah!

uhm.... I would say tiramisú! or.... burger with bacon and anything you want in it lol, tagliatelle/pappardelle al cinghiale! so its an italian meal, wild boar with "pappardelle"

Sounds like a good meal. I love peanut butter and a good burger, but never combined them. I usually put PB on everything, don't know how I feel about it on beef though. And like Bob said, trust the process.

PB is my love!!! and I usually put it everywhere so I went for it yesterday but I have to be honest.... to me it doesn't really match with the beef..... don't get me wrong, it was amazing, but "not that matching between the two"....

I will then update after, big WO today, I should be well ready today after my cheat yesterday and my 200g of carbs day, I am trying to eat the majority of all my carbs today around my WO so as lunch/preWO/postWO

today is my 8th day with shift tho :)
 
Drink more water to help with the excess sodium if you want. Was your workout beter today than it has been in the past week or so?

Simple question if I could, on that article is written that it's better to do some cardio today because of the cheap meal is that alright? Like 30 min or 40 of cardio as I was mentioning on my previous post?
 
Over a week in on shift. Good deal. Really interested in this next weeks feedback. When carb cycling I tend to hit at least some cardio everyday I workout but I would definitely get it in if you had your cheat meal yesterday. Should definitely have the energy to get some in anyway.

Usually I have 4 cardio sesh per week but as you said today I'm fonna do one more, while I'm writing this indeed I'm on the treadmill already hahahahahah couldn't avoid that lol

Feel so great I went up with all my weights today and I look much lean now than this morning lol, ok ok I'm not lean as 2 days ago, cake + cheat meal made he difference lol but I'm confident that this is gonna give the positive results in about 3/4 days :)

Excess calories + Extra carbs = extra water held
each gram of carb holds 3g of water. I bet in a few days you baseline or hit a new low. Just stay consistent man. Don't let the scale play headgames its the least valuable tool you can use.

took my shift! boom

now i am waiting to have my breakfast, usually in 2h after taking it, do you think I could do 1h or 1h and a half instead of waiting 2h?

this morning the scale (i know i should not look at it lol but I do every morning lol) was 71.9kg and 7.6%fat (caliper) so the fat went down of 0.4% and the weight up of 100g!?!?!?!?!? wtf! ahahah

I also had my 3 espresso :)

Definitely don't sweat the weight gain much especially if the calipers are giving a satisfying reading. Probably just holding water. Are you unable to wait the full 2 hours brother? I would stick with what's working for you.

yes I can wait the full 2h but my shift will change a bit at work so it would be better to wait 1.5h but I will do my best to avoid that :) I will have to eat my lunch while working but its ok :)

oooooooooooooooook :( I am just using it for tracking but I agree I am starting to be a little but obsessed with it :( I will leave it till next week then :)
