Lowest amount of cals while ON?

I want to hear what is the lowest amount of calories while on a cycle?

List what your height and weight are, along with how much you usually eat per day at maintenance, then how low you went while on a PH cycle...

Trying to get a idea of what a true cal drop would look like, in order to reach your goals while running a PH.
I have always either upped my cals, by 1000, or stayed at maintenance level while on a run. Have never truly tried to diet during a cycle.
(Im sure something like Epi or Hdrol would be the most common PH ran, during a low and strict diet)

Everyone is different. I can eat like a bird gear or no gear and maintain weight like nothing had changed although i feel tired and weaker but bodyweight stays the same. Other times i can eat like crap and stay the same weight and keep strength but body composition def changes. For cutting im a believe that food quality is more important then quantity. 2000 cal of strict clean food is more food volume then 3000 cal of junk. Just my exp.
 
Thats the lowest ive gone as well, 2k. Right now, im eating around 3500.
And you are def right about the energy level...gotta fuel yourself while your body is in such a high anabolic state.

Wondering if anyone has gone much lower, like 1500 or so?
 
Never used a PH or AAS but IMO dropping calories is worthless while.on them. Maintaining them is fine to gain muscle and loose fat, if you want to loose fat and maintain muscle there is clen, abuterol, and probably a bunch of stuff I don't know. PHs and AASs are best use for gaining muscle.

I believe Dorian Yates said early in his career he only ran gear pre contest and while dieting would grow into the show. I guess it would come down to how easy you can gain natural and using the drugs to maintain/ grow while dropping bf. I would guess you gotta be real lean already for that to work.

By diet you mean in a calorie deficiency while doing a special type of diet(paleo, keto, etc...)?
 
8 Week 1/4 DHEA Cycle.

Height 6' 1" Kcals: ~2400'ish (~600kcal deficit from maintenance'ish)

Jan 11th 2015. Weight 240lbs. Abdominal Tape Measurement: 42"

Mar 11th 2015 Weight 229lbs. Abdominal Tape Measurement 39"

Strength Gain: Deadlift (Conventional) and Squat (ATG) increased by ~25lbs - probably 30, but I never tested for a true 1RM.

I unfortunately didn't take any bodypart circumference measurements, much less get a DEXA, etc.. But I lost 11lbs of bodyweight and 3" around the waist, while getting stronger - which was my goal.

If by diet you mean my dy reference it was contest prep diet. Paleo and most diets didn't exist back then, i mean they did but didn't have names other then keto. I doubt you could grow on keto, maybe maintain with gear but there's a reason most ppl dont keto no more as its hard to keep muscle and mess with your head. Once again tho everyone is different

In my experience , actual body composition changes while cutting on a ph is highly dependent on cardio intensity. Simply cutting cals doesn't cut it for the type of look / changes i have wanted to make on my cutting cycles . Phs are extremely good at holding numbers even in a deficit (weight) as well as retaining glycogen. So often times you won't experience the weight loss you want even when your eating like a bird. Hiit and fasted cardio sessions will help a ton.
 
Depends on what you are running.

Lowest I have gone is 1500 cals. My maintenance is 3500 and I am 210. Pretty much all protein. Woudln't do it again, I was behind on how I wanted to look and was leaving for vacation soon so went to extremes. It is killer, makes you feel like ****.
 
^Ya, my cousin is on a low cal right now and running Epi...he looks like hes half dead during the day! But he has it in his mind that this will give him the look he wants. Right now, on my cycle im staying just above normal, but really heavy on the protein. We'll see....
 
i usually cut at the end of my cycle after like 16 weeks trying to gain on tren ill do 5 or so weeks cut. just remember to drop your dose while cutting cause its pointless running a high dose if your not trying to build mass all u need is enough to prevent muscle catabolism and ensure fat is burned instead of muscle which isnt a lot. I usually half my dosage of whatever im using. And something highly androgenic like tren or some stano if ure on orals will cause u to loose more fat quicker while in a calorie deficit. dont be fooled by dry compounds like epistane as u just look more cut due to low estro and less water retention, they dont actually burn more fat. its high androgens that will help and even then its not a huge amount. its the size of youre calorie deficit that means the most. and while on cycle u can go a lot further into deficit than usual without loosing any muscle. just keep protein relatively high throughout
 
i dont actually count calories though. during cycle i just eat a lot more carbs n fat and while cutting i eat a lot less carbs and moderately less fat. if i cut out direct sources of carbs like rice, potatoes etc the weight just falls off me.
