Gotti's Osta Shred Log (Sponsered)

Tuesday

Legs: Reverse Hack Squat (8,4,2), Leg Extension (20), Laying Leg Curl (20), Stiff leg ham stretch, and Smith machine Quad stretch

Back: Dead Lift (7,4,2), Straight bar pulldown (20), Pulldown lat stretch

Bicep: Incline Dumbbell Curl (7,4,2), Preacher machine curl (20), underhand smith machine stretch

Overall I felt good again. The workout was once again really difficult and after the reverse hack squats and deadlifts I saw stars. I saw some crazy veins in my neck between the rest pauses and was flush red. Completed the workout without any problems though, hit all my numbers. The cardio was tough though, I felt like even during the first 5 minutes which I sort of just use as a warm up that I was struggling.

Last night once I got home and as soon as I got in my bed I almost felt like my legs went "ahhh". Felt really good to take all my weight off my legs. This morning my whole back is feeling it as well. I woke up and twisted and literally felt every muscle in my back felt tight.

Cardio and abs

Got on the eliptical I like yesterday. It actually felt difficult. Not sure if it was the heat or the day after I hit legs and deads that my legs are toast but I was struggling. Once I hit the times to sprint the time goes by quick but the first 5 minutes I go at normal pace and I found it feeling like it took awhile. Abs to was a struggle, I did the medicine ball sit ups again and could really feel it in my upper body because I was still beat up from Monday. I left the gym really feeling worn out. But I did accomplish everything I needed to and pushed myself really hard.

At work before I was leaving a guy looked and flexed his arm. Then told me I looked like I was getting jacked. Kind of surprised as I felt my arms looked a bit down in size but he said I looked bigger. I'll take that as a compliment because I looked pretty lean in the mirror last night.

I did experience more anxiety last night too. My heart was a bit racey, butterfly type feeling, and mind was going a bit crazy. It didn't last too long but it came and went a few times. I woke up this morning feeling similar but as I type this I feel better. I have to think it's the Osta because I've never delt with the feeling before. Even when I'm stressed about stuff I don't seem to have a reaction like this. Hopefully it goes away once I finish the Osta.

Chest: Underhand Barbell (7,2,2)(Fail) Reps, Cable Crossover (20), Flat bench weighted fly stretch

Shoulders: Hammer Strength Shoulder Press (8,4,2), Side Lat raise (20), Behind back Barbell stretch

Tricep: Skullcrusher (8,4,2,), Straight Bar Extension(20), Behind the head dumbbell stretch

So I felt pretty good going into the gym yesterday. I was sore but in a good mood and ready to workout. As you see I failed at underhand press but it wasn't that bad. The first set I felt like it was light and then all of a sudeen hit a road block and the next two sets I was just smoked. One of the problems with that kind of press is the grip, sometimes. Still happy I ended up with 11 reps. The rest of the workout was pretty standard, it was nice to see the skullcrushers I really thought I would fail on went smooth as they could of. My forearms were really veiny after the workout, I was walking on the treadmill and couldn't help but notice them, didn't really feel a pump but they looked really full.

Went to see my parents last night and my mother was telling me how skinny I was looking.

yeah it's really strange, one day someone tells me i looked like i was getting jacked, the next i'm looking skinny.....makes me think i'm really recomping successfully

but weight isn't really changing so the muscle gains must be fairly lean

Hopefully it's from the osta and not a placebo effect Because you guys are eating less and working out hard.
Personally I'm on day 10 of osta shred and i don't feel any different. .. no strength gains no size difference. .. except that i look less puffy. .. dropped a couple pounds even though I'm eating more calories than my maintenance... I'm eating around 3200 cal. Makes me think that maybe my water weight dropped... this product must be very very weak in comparison to alpha 1max, super dmz and such... but we'll see. .. keep it up guys!

I've done my research. .. have you?

How does it work?

Selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs) bind to the androgen receptor and demonstrate osteo (bone) and myo (muscular) anabolic activity.
Androgen receptor activation

Binding and activation of the Androgen receptor alters the expression of genes and increases protein synthesis, hence builds muscle.
So in essence, SARMS such as Ostarine causes muscle growth in the same manner as steroids, however unlike testosterone and other anabolic steroids and prohormones, SARMS (as nonsteroidal agents) don’t produce the growth effect on prostate and other secondary sexual organs.

I don't know how true this claim is for mk-2866 (osta shred) but this is how it should work.

Ok Maybe i shouldn't of compared it to a stacked prohormone like dmz but you get the picture. Personally I'm very skeptical with this product. .. but we shall see. Not too offend you boonie but you look like **** in your picture post. .. and you used to do roids? Wow

Saturday

So this week we were offered overtime. We could only sign up for specific times and based on senority I got 12-4. So I figured I'd go to the gym before hand, but my cable and internet also went out. I called comcast and they were to send someone out between 10:30-12:30, so I felt like I could still hit the gym. The guy woke me up banging on my door around 8:30 a.m. which was lovely. He ended up staying until 10:45ish and I had to get in the shower before work. So needless to say I didn't get to the gym on Saturday.

Sunday

Woke up with the expectations of doing a bunch of yard work and things outside which involve lifting and all of that. But as my day got started and I was pulling out my deck furniture I received some bad news from my family so the day didn't turn out how I expected. I just wasn't in the right space after that. I still got some stuff done to keep busy but it was a rough day.

I only have a week left of the log so hopefully the news doesn't affect the rest of the log but I'm still waiting if theres anything new which could force me out of the gym. But I'll continue to update.

SARM's (osta in particular) are just not even close to the strength of a steroid... What you posted is the MOA, that has absolutely nothing to do with the level of effectivity. Also, the majority of my "do you know what you're taking" comment was directed at the fact that you seemed surprised at water loss... arimistane is an AI, which will cause water loss... so yeah...

As far as looking like Shiit... i didn't realize a six pack was a "shiitty" look ha. Sorry to offend you. It's hard to impress everyone I guess... especially someone who has no picture of them self and is obviously in better shape

Chest: Barbell Flat Bench (8,4,2) Reps, Cable crossover (20), Flat bench weighted fly stretch

Shoulders: Standing Barebell press (7,4,2), Side Lat raise (20), Behind back Barbell stretch

Tricep: Weighted Dips (8,4,2,), Straight bar underhand extension (20), Behind the head dumbbell stretch

So yesterday was mentally tough all day. I just felt worn out and tired from the stress. So when I got to the gym I didn't know what to expect, I didn't feel like lifting but once I started things improved. I almost turned the worrying into a controlled aggression, just sort of fed up with things and the weights moved pretty smoothly. The bench felt easier than most weeks, the shoulder press on the other hand felt like it was forced with pure will to reach the numbers. In fact I think I hurt my right knee from doing the standing press, I didn't notice anything when I was doing them but I was in some sort of zone. But last night and this morning it doesn't feel right. The session overall was pretty good.

It wasn't until I was doing cardio that I realized that on bench I did the same amount of weight as I did last time. It was an accident and probably why I didn't feel like I was going to kill myself. The gym must have been humid because shortly after I started my shirt felt like it was sticking to my back like someone shot me in the back with a hose. As I was driving home I couldn't help but think I felt slimey. Overall a good workout.

Right before I went to bed last night I walked past a mirror and even though I didn't feel like it. I did a double bicep flex and noticed I'm getting a nice little X shape, I noticed it right off the bat last night and I usually don't look for that so it might be more obvious.

Legs: Squat (8,4,2), Leg Extension (20), Laying Leg Curl (20), Stiff leg ham stretch, and Smith machine Quad stretch

Back: Barbell Row (8,4,2), Straight bar pulldown (20), Pulldown lat stretch

Bicep: Barbell Curl (7,4,2), Preacher Curl machine (20), underhand smith machine stretch

Went to the gym and my knee was giving me some pain. When I started warming up with lighter weights I didn't notice the pain. The weight warming up actually felt good. During the working set was a struggle the way it should of been. Afterwards I felt like I was just running outside in the cold weather and my lungs were burning with that cold feeling. Didn't get to do t bar rows because a few guys were dicking around with it pretty much the whole time. So I went and did barbell rows. They went pretty smoothly. Biceps were also good and no pain the way I had a week or so ago.

Nothing new to really report other than strength has been really impressive, seems like even though the weight is a bear I'm still able to move it.

Wednesday

Cardio and Abs

Cardio seemed fairly easy yesterday, it was cooler outside and the gym has this garage door and the owner had it cracked. So it was pretty comfortable as I got going. It wasn't stuffy or humid to make it tougher to breath or anything. Abs were a bit of a struggle, didn't notice if they were a bit sore from squatting but I did the ab loungue for 150 crunches along with my normal leg raises. Pretty good workout.

Went home to see my family and I got a sleeveless shirt on, my father who doesn't think getting too big or too lean is good. He likes the fact of being active but over the years expressed how he doesn't like the extreme sides of things. Either way he looked at me and said "look at your arms, they are looking thick" but it was in a good way, he's never said it like that before and I was pretty happy. But him and I ended up carrying a fooseball table that I have from my garage to my basement which was a bear to carry.

Chest: Barbell Incline Press (7,4,2) Reps, Cable Crossover (20), Flat bench weighted fly stretch

Shoulders: Seated barbell overhead press (5,4,3), Side Lat raise (20), Behind back Barbell stretch

Tricep: Close grip barbell press (2,4,8)(Fail), Rope extension(20), Behind the head dumbbell stretch

Kind of a tough workout. Starting warming up on presses and felt a pinch in my shoulder. One of those feelings like it could pop and release the pressure and feel good or pop and be a terrible pain. I felt it almost the whole time I was pressing. I was still able to hit my numbers but once I got to shoulder press I didn't feel the pain but as you see I really struggled with the shoulder press. Whenever I got less than 7 reps on the first unracking I never think I'll hit the numbers.

As you see I failed on triceps, I put on the weight needed unracked and lowered it. And as soon as I was going down I knew it was going to be terrible. I reracked after 1 rep and thought I'd reset myself to make sure it wasn't a grip error or anything, unracked and got 2 so I knew it was a fail so what I did was do a double drop set with the 15 deep breaths each time just to get the reps.

Luckily the shoulder pain didn't linger after the workout, just during the benching portion.

Gym felt pretty good. It was quiet on Saturday morning at the gym so it was kind of a relaxed feeling. Everything went as planned except the curls weren't the best form. I've realized that curls aren't great for DC type training because 5lbs per sessions on dumbbells. But it was the last curl session of the log so not a huge deal.

Shoulders: Hammer Strength Shoulder Press (8,4,2), Side Lat raise (20), Behind back Barbell stretch

Tricep: Skullcrusher (8,4,2,), Straight Bar Extension(20), Behind the head dumbbell stretch

Last workout for the log. The underhand press was difficult again. Probably not the best movement for this style of training but I fell in love with the movement right before I started DC training in the winter. Might switch out the movement to a decline press. Overall though the workout felt pretty good. Had a decent upper body pump going on. Not a specific muscle group just across the top of my body.

Final Review:

This is a review Ostashred (1bottle) with DC style training for a cut.

Lets start at what I figured to be most important and work from there.

Body Comp: This is ultimately what I was concerned with most and this is where Osta Shred really shined the most. Weeks 1 and 2 I noticed a bit of leaning. But week 4 on seemed to really explode with changes. I noticed a good deal of leaning out and hardening of the muscle. My waist seemed to shrink and I noticed fat loss in my ab region along with added seperation and definition of leg muscles. While I was leaning, I also noticed some lean muscle gains. During the first few weeks of the log I felt like my arms looked smaller and I questioned if DC training was the right direction to go. But over the last few weeks I've gotten some nice comments on the size of my arms and shoulders. I also received comments about how lean I looked. Overall I was very happy with the results I saw in the mirror. My V taper and legs have also come up in size giving a better X shape than when I started.

Strength: Strength was really a positive as well. DC style is all about increasing the weights each time and the way I do the training I was hitting a lift about every week and a half or so. I feel like that makes it a bit harder to increase weight with such short turn around but Ostashred didn't fail me here. I failed a few times which could be expected but not nearly as I would have without the product. Especially on a cutting diet where strength ususally starts to slip. Ostashred is really nice to keep up strength while doing a cut.

Mental: I don't know how to describe this part. A lot of people seem to have a sense of well being on Osta products. I got the well being feeling a few times during the log but it wasn't all that noticeable. A few times I noticed a bit of uncontrolled anger but it didn't last more than 5 or 10 seconds at a time. This was really beneficial in the gym. The aggression a few times might have carried me an extra rep or two. I also noticed a bit of anxiety during the log. I don't usually have anxiety at all but for about a week I was getting it where I felt uneasy and my mind was racing.

Libido: Early on in the log I felt like my libido went into the tubes. But towards the end I would have extreme highs and lows. Some nights it was really high and then the next day it was almost non existent.

Pumps: N/A due to the type of training I never really got a chance to notice anything.

Side Effects: I had some sides that didn't effect my training but were noticeable none the less. At the beginning of the log I had trouble sleeping and even though it improved throughout the log, it was never as solid as it was before the log. Some days I felt warn down weather it be the job or training DC style plus HIIT cardio I'm not sure but some days I just felt like I got beat up. Again once I was in the gym it didn't make a difference. Also the anxiety which sucked, the anxiety didn't start until about the 6th or 7th week so I'm guessing it was from the extended run.

Overall: I really liked this product and I would recommend it to anyone. For someone like myself who made the decision not to do any methyl products and doesn't have any interest in illegal products this is about as good as they come. I'd also buy this product again and would like to see what the results would have been if added with a mild appetite supressant. And being someone who has run osta for 4 weeks before I could easily say that running it 8 weeks is so much better. A lot of changes come along around week 4 and on so your only going so far with 4 weeks but 8 weeks will show major improvements.
Great review. Glad you enjoyed your run. Thanks for the thorough detail!

Thanks for the review and detailed log man!

Yeah I most definitely have experienced anxiety and in week 6. Did the anxiety go away when you stopped?

well monday was my last day, but it sort of diminished after that bad week, i would still have it in short spirts....i could keep you updated if i get any anxiety side effects into the pct

Please do. The anxiety just came out of no where in short moments throughout the day but at times it gets bad, its never happened the first 4 weeks

a week into pct, I did notice a bit of anxiety last week, not nearly what it was while on but it has seemed to go away

biggest thing i've noticed is the drop in endurance in the gym, doing dc training of three muscles a day, the last muscle group which is usually just arms, i feel dead, but it's also been super hot here too so that could be a factor
