What is your favorite cheat meal?

I read a review for the new Tims Nutella line in the newspaper.

Verdict was it delivers... The donut has "a nice hazelnut crunch", but the pastry pocket did not have that "Nutella ooze" expected.

I legitimately want to eat more because I'm not full. Also had 2 Oreos because they sounded good. Might have a quest bar and a big bowl of popcorn to try to fill up

It was pretty good. Im a PB fiend so it was right up my ally. Was hoping for more PB cups in it, but Im satisfied! Not sure how many cals all that was. Proably 500 just in sweet and sour sauce! lol. Probably just gonna have a quest bar a little later and a few scoops of select to make sure I get in enough protein today and call it good.
 
It was my first experience with one. Went to get the red velvet cake (my all time favorite B&J's) but my local hyvee was out. Will probably pony up for the Talenti's I saw there next weeks cheat. I was going to today, but I didnt know which flavors were all that. Gonna do some reading this week to find out...

I've had greaters which is great, same with gelato fiasco.. Really wanna try jenis... The distances led it tough... But I do like the uniqueness of some BnJ flavors

Peanut buttah core is so much better if you want a pb flavor. The fudge core isn't even in the same ballpark for pb flavor

Will definitely keep that in mind! About to drop calories down so the cheat is going to be ever more exciting so I need to make it count every week lol

i will spike a bit the day after my cheat, then 2 days after i usually blow through it and hit a new low haha

I feel you! I'll be down to 2600 kcals starting tomorrow. For me, that's like starving status. My appetite is just uncomfortable. If the 2600 doesn't get me where I need to be, I'm worried how I'm gonna handle it!

I saw you posted you're on like 2200 aren't you??

Personally I'm a constant bottomless pit so when I'm dieting it's just uncomfortable.

That's very true. I'm trying to find ways to fill up. Eating all my carbs from 1-2 fruit, and green veggies every day really helped. Trying to make the most volume for the calories
 
Graeters cookies and cream.....this was amazing. I love oreos and you can see the size of these mix ins, plus an amazingly creamy base its like one huge oreo...loved it!

There is a law of diminishing returns on staying full when you diet
Its called Mental Willpower.

Your body adapts to the volume/caloric intake over time. I just stay focused on my training and maintaining my strength, so far over dieting 16 weeks i hit a few PR's last week.

i am more concerned about my training and not hunger pains or food. Calories are calories as long as i hit them and my deficit that is all that matters.

When you're in a surplus/bulking/lean gains ~whatever you call it, do you still cheat? Is the meal/dessert smaller when you do?

That's a really awesome way to look at it and I'm trying to adopt the same thinking as my calories drop. I've never been below 13% bf and that's where I'm at now so this type of dieting is all new to me. I spent most of my time losing initial weight (lost 90lbs) and then working on building a size base and I'm finally where I need to be for that. Keep pressing on man!

Btw, your cheesecake recipe has saved me from a few really bad cheat meals!

You and I have that in common. I can get full when gaining weight but at the end of the day...if my goal is to gain weight or lose weight...I do that and "getting full" can take a back seat.

Regardless of goal I have a cheat once a week

We are human we do not collect pay checks off hitting macros nor will any of us ever

To avoid foods or moderation is ludicrous
This is a hobby

Just alter your sources when bulking and don't stuff yourself on tons of fiber, oatmeal etc and you will be fine

I'm at 4100 calories at the moment. I haven't gotten full to burst once. After a while of doing this you know how. Max for me atm is 60 to 65g of fiber. Any more and I have issues. THANK THE LORD FOR WHITE RICE AND CEREAL! lol.

Mon-sun 400 kcal over maintenance
Sunday (or whatever you cheat meal day is) 400 kcal over maintenance + additional cals from cheat (800+)

So 400*7 = 2800 cal over maintenance for the week + 800 additional from the cheat Sunday

3600+ over for the week.

Dairy Queen Salted Caramel Truffle Blizzard

The Sea Salt Caramel's have a nice chocolate shell and are filled with a liquid caramel that melt in your mouth. The Toffee pieces were buttery, thick, and crunchy that provided a great crispy texture to the blizzard. Pair that with chocolate fudge chunks and it was like a diced up brownie mixed into the vanilla soft serve. A Very unique combination dairy queen put together to make one of their best blizzards in my opinion. While I do not think this tops the density and flavor the S'mores blizzard packed, it sure gave it a run for its money. While this is still limited I would suggest picking it up.

Grade: B+

I went off your reference above (in bold) on the caloric amount, for some maybe a lot more for a cheat.

I don't either. .
