Today's cheat meal
I legitimately want to eat more because I'm not full. Also had 2 Oreos because they sounded good. Might have a quest bar and a big bowl of popcorn to try to fill up

It was my first experience with one. Went to get the red velvet cake (my all time favorite B&J's) but my local hyvee was out. Will probably pony up for the Talenti's I saw there next weeks cheat. I was going to today, but I didnt know which flavors were all that. Gonna do some reading this week to find out...
Peanut buttah core is so much better if you want a pb flavor. The fudge core isn't even in the same ballpark for pb flavor
Will definitely keep that in mind! About to drop calories down so the cheat is going to be ever more exciting so I need to make it count every week lol

I feel you! I'll be down to 2600 kcals starting tomorrow. For me, that's like starving status. My appetite is just uncomfortable. If the 2600 doesn't get me where I need to be, I'm worried how I'm gonna handle it!

I couldn't keep sane on such low calories. Honestly, mad respect to you guys!
That's very true. I'm trying to find ways to fill up. Eating all my carbs from 1-2 fruit, and green veggies every day really helped. Trying to make the most volume for the calories

There is a law of diminishing returns on staying full when you diet
Its called Mental Willpower.
Your body adapts to the volume/caloric intake over time. I just stay focused on my training and maintaining my strength, so far over dieting 16 weeks i hit a few PR's last week.
i am more concerned about my training and not hunger pains or food. Calories are calories as long as i hit them and my deficit that is all that matters.

When you're in a surplus/bulking/lean gains ~whatever you call it, do you still cheat? Is the meal/dessert smaller when you do?
You and I have that in common. I can get full when gaining weight but at the end of the day...if my goal is to gain weight or lose weight...I do that and "getting full" can take a back seat.
I'm not starving after all. First world problems haha
Just alter your sources when bulking and don't stuff yourself on tons of fiber, oatmeal etc and you will be fine

Sunday (or whatever you cheat meal day is) 400 kcal over maintenance + additional cals from cheat (800+)
So 400*7 = 2800 cal over maintenance for the week + 800 additional from the cheat Sunday
3600+ over for the week.
i dont count calories in a cheat ever.
