Today went to track on lunch did mile cardio. Then hit up gym for chest day. I am going to start after this week doing chest with higher reps and lower weight for a while. i have a lot of fat in chest despite strength and I need to do something to help that out. I am trying to do lot more cardio then I use to yet I keep gaining weight.

Chest:

incline barbell presses: 135 lbs x 8, 205 lbs x 6, 225 lbs x 6, 295 lbs x 2

flat db bench: 70 lbs x 8, 50 lbs x 12, 15

pec deck 150 lbs x 10,10,10

single arm peck deck 150 lbs x 10,10,10

flat bench press: 185 lbs x 8,8

Time to raise the Metabolism a little, I think we all have to do that right now...lol
 
It wouldn't be the same Pack without the heavy *** presses. What if you did your work sets then did a couple sets afterwards in the 20-30 rep range?
 
Very true brother! might just do that. I just get tired of being so damn bulky! I'm trying to lose 45 lbs and feel like the more cardio and leaner I eat the bigger I get.

You could also change your steady state cardio to hitt...

Always big numbers on that incline press.
 
I understand the frustration! Try the HIIT out like Simon said. I really think it will help you! The steady state is good if you've got 45 mins or so but the HIIT burns calories faster. That way when you do 20 mins of cardio- it's more like 2-300 calories or more vs 20 mins of steady state is MAYBE 100 calories.
 
Today we did arms. We been doing on Friday's but we have a big softball torney tomorrow if it don't rain out.

Biceps

We did our normal drop ez bar curls sets. This time 2 rounds of 10 5lb weights and bar doing 8 reps on each set.

db spider curls: 35 lbs x 8,8,8

cable pulley curls high: 60 lbs x 10,12, 50 lbs 12

db curls alt 35 lbs x 7,7,7

triceps:

super set rope press downs with reverse cable curls: 110 lbs on rpdowns and 120 lbs x rev cab curls; 10,10,10

over head rope ext: 100 lbs x 10,10,12

tricep dip machine: 120 lbs x 10, 150 lbs x 8,8

I hope so lol, but it's looking bad for chances to play. There's storms coming and if it pours for to long they will cancel. We have one of the most loaded teams I've put in. I got 4 guys that played college bb.

don't know what bar we used it had handles and was shaped wierd but you do pull downs and it's like your going in almost to your side lats. 90 lbs x 10,10,10,10

straight bar dead lifts: 135 lbs x 8, 205 lbs x 8, 255 lbs x 6, 315 lbs x 3

Research exercises for Carpel Tunnel before considering surgery. A friend had the surgery and wishes he never had it. There are stretching exercises you can do to open the wrist cavity up. For example: pretend like you are trying to pick up a basketball one handed, from the top. In other words keep arm down at your side and spread your fingers as far apart from each other as possible. Repeat.

Hit up gym today for biceps. Felt good pumps all day today. IT's been raining every single day here this week with rain through weekend :(

Biceps

drop sets with ez bar curls again. First set did 10 x 5lb plates doing 8 reps to bar going to failure so 48 reps

2nd set did 5 of the 5lb plates each side with 1 10 lbs on each side to start off with. I did these 10 reps a piece 70 complete reps. I almost didn't want to workout at anymore after those.

db spider curls: 30 lbs x 10,10, 35 lbs x 10

seated alt db curls: 30 lbs x 8,8,8

machine preacher curls; 50 lbs x 20, 20, 15

Hit late night gym up for 1.15 mile cardio and 25 min sauna. Did quick leg press just to warm up legs for starting leg training again soon lol. 4 plates x 10, 8 plates x 8, 10 plates x 6 and then some 3 sets of calf raises.
