I've been craving Reese's Pieces all week with everybody talking about the new Select flavor! I'm going to have to hunt down a bag this weekend.

The B&J flavours I picked up in Michigan just aren't doing it for me so far. Jeni's >>>>>> B&J. After I go through my pints I'm going to try some custom creations at Marble Slab Creamery.

First time trying all these B&J flavours so was more of a trial & error exercise to see if my taste buds agree with yours. Sadly, the answer was a resounding YES.

Some good info on why some flavors went to the grave yard from OSS :

I was able to find out a bunch of stuff but most importantly why some of the more popular flavors have been killed off. First off, the hyped Oatmeal Cookie Chunk. This was a big hit for people and the reason is quite simple, the bakery that supplied the oatmeal cookies stopped producing them. While Eric and the team went to multiple bakeries to get them to replicate the mix-in, none of them were up to par. So instead of putting out a lesser quality ice cream, they had no choice but to send it to the graveyard. Next, Dublin Mudslide. We still get questions about this one and the problem here was they couldn't get any fair-trade/non-gmo Irish cream. Most shockingly of the bunch was Late Night Snack. The reason behind this one was because Jimmy would no longer be on the show, the network didn't want him a part of anything that dealt with the show. While some of you know, this flavor was released in other countries as Couch Potato. While there's no plans of it being re-released in the US as such, I wouldn't put it past them. There are probably more I'm forgetting but at that point, I was beyond spent. Oh wait one more! Coconut Seven Layer Bar is a beloved scoop shop exclusive and for those of you hoping to see it in pints, don't hold your breath. The ingredients are too costly that Ben & Jerry's wouldn't make much of a profit at their current price point and would have to increase the price to compensate for things.

I tried the pb fudge core, liked it but low on the mix-ins IMO. I got the phish food which I'll try within the next few weeks.

My next cheat has been sabotaged by my fam. They want me to take them for deep dish b/c they've never tried it, but they don't want a lot of meat toppings and they want to ask them to go light on the cheese too. Wtf.

One flavour that really intrigued me from the graveyard is cannoli. ICI review scored it a B, but not just sure if it sold well or not. Since I'm Italian and have tasted really good cannoli's (homemade and from a good bakery) I would definitely give it a shot.

As a movie it was entertaining. As part of the franchise this movie is way out there, with 10x as much unbelievable impossible things going on. Visually speaking they spent a ton of money on the movie. Jason Stathom was a badass. My son loved it and that's what's important.
 
Another great general flavor is regular Half Baked, Great flavor- and generally a ton of mix-ins

Both regular half baked and pb half baked just came out at the Walmart near me (got pb version in the freezer)

Agreed! These doughnuts are the bomb! DD and Krispy Kreme can't even hold a candle to the country style doughnuts.

Cannoli was OK... 2nd street creamery cannoli was great however

I'm finding this to be very true as I've been let down by a lot of their other flavors. It's always a gamble to try one of the new ones or stick with the sea salt caramel. I'm trying the Haagen Dazs Ginger Molasses Cookie ice cream this week and hopeful it doesn't disappoint.

New HD artisan flavors (as i have stated multiple times) are a let down for most and in all reviews

It's meh. Spent 37 years of my life there and probably had deep dish like 4 times and all 4 were when friends or family came from out of town and asked for it. It's worth trying since they hype it up so much, but there is way better pizza to be had. Of course now, I'm in Dallas and you wouldn't think that a decent pizza is that difficult of a concept, but holy crap the "pizza" I have seen.

Agreed. First deep dish and then try other joints. I was only there for a day and a half so only got the deep dish in.

Meh is going to be better than any chain restaurant you find in any regular city by a large margin.

Mom and Pop pizza joints are better than chains. I am a pizza snob, I won't eat a chain pizza ever again. I missed the good pizza that you can only find in NJ and NY. Besides chicago, those are the only places where I will get pizza

Agreed. I never buy from pizza-chain shops. We have most of the same ones here in Canada as the U.S. (except Papa Johns).

I only order from a place near me that makes stuffed pizza (Chicago style).
My Mom's homemade pizza is still Tops for me though :)

I saw some plates of poutine in some pics from this place but not think anything of it. It turns out the challenge titled the "Scary Burger" challenge is a 36 oz burger with a few onion rings and a plate of poutine.
Im not confident I can finish anymore but I know mkretz can do it.
 
Gonna hit a shoulder/leg workout and then head to my aunts for our Easter. Loads of turkey/ham, cheesy potatoes(my moms are the best), and my aunt just loves to home make pies and lemon bars. It's gonna be a great meal
