I've never had a stale donut from DD. Matter of fact last time I was in the lou I went and grabbed two custard filled donuts and they were fresh and over flowith with custard.

I will take a picture of country style doughnuts next time I pick them up for the office... the apple fritters are about 12" in diameter. Old fashioned country doughnuts. like nothing else I've tasted to date. Next Mar 30 I will send to Bob for bday reviews :)

Primanti Brother's (First time going):

Pretty dang good. I am not a fan of Mayo based cole slaw, but the vinegar based was very good and had a nice crunch to the sandwich.

pastrami is def the best they have IMO. I'm not a huge fan of the Untoasted bread because it can get soggy from the slaw (or the grease if you go to one of the downtown original ones that at dirty little holes in the wall ha) but the meat is what's up. Sometimes getting a fried egg on there is just perfection

These were not greasy at all
I even said that to my buddy and his wife who went with me + the waiter
But again this is the Erie restaurant.

What was crazy was they were incredibly short staffed (2 servers for the entire store) and our food was out in 8 minutes flat. for 4 sandwiches
I have to agree Prastrami was HNNGGG

Gonna get this next time it is not on the menu but buddy suggested it

when pigs fly. Turkey, ham, bacon, and an egg.

This week my boss told me I'm going to get moved, likely to western Canada by early summer so I want to take advantage of any local fare before I go. Thinking to try this challenge before I go (pics are from website - not me lol)... mrketz

lol that breakfast will destroy you if you do not have a huge stomach.
Burger may be more feasable for you

Just don't fast for like 2 days before or after to compensate for it.

I'm not big on take-out breakfast, so will pass on that probably. The burger is happening fo sho! It's just a matter of when.

I'll jump back into my routine the day after ... I might have done stupid ish like that years ago, but smarter now ;)

Can a Canadian explain the pickle on top of the burger thing? I have seen that a few times while I was in Ontario and at a Chain burger restaurant in the Philippines.
