Hell yeah, my kinda stuff! I'll have to look up a couple of those, but I definitely like Dying Fetus and Origin. I'm kinda old school too, Cannibal Corpse was my first real foray into Death metal from old school thrash :). Finally saw them live a couple years ago.

I'm definitely old school as well, been into it since 8th grade. But my taste has evolved with the scene too. The older I get, the heavier I need!! It's strange.

Went in for back day today. Knees are feeling fine today so must've just been a little "new lift" type pain from the front squats like I thought.

Decided not to do deadlifts or rack pulls today like I usually do as my back has been feeling a tad off lately. A week break should do it well. Instead I did a ton of rows... Bb bent over and underhand, ezbar incline bench supported rows ss with db rows, and then a bunch of misc pull downs and hs stuff. Got a nice pump going.

Forearm tendon was still a bit funky so anything that bugged it I went light on. Pwo I tried out the sauna for the first time in my life. Prob sweat out 5lb in the 10 min I was in there ha. Felt great when I came out too. Might go back later for a little cardio and some more sauna time.

Nothing much in the osta front to report. Everything is pretty much right at normal so far. Weight this morning was 195.3lb

Ended up being so motivated and energized that I jogged to the farther gym (about 1.5mi) and did a little extra rear delt work and another sauna session yesterday. just felt so good. Mood was good, hunger was low, and everything just felt great.

Same scenario today... got up, banged out an awesome chest workout, sauna (my new obsession ha) and then jogged home. Its so nice outside it only makes sense to go to and from the gym and get free cardio. Mood has been really high the last two days, as well as a spike in libido. Hoping that this all continues and weight begins to drop as well... at this rate, the potential is there for the perfect pseudo-cycle.

yesterday was the first time in my life I've gone in one. At first I was like "I can't breathe in here wtf." Then after a min I could just feel the garbage leaking out of me and I felt so good afterwards. Gonna become a staple in my routine for sure now that I have access

No workout this morning as I'm about to fly to Mexico for the week. Not sure what the gym/food will look like but I'll try to update as much as Internet access and work will allow for. Mood is still really good this morning.

One thing I have noticed the last two days is that I've been thirsty as all hell. I'm talking 2-2.5gal a day thirsty. Crazy.

Got a little bit of a baby gym here with some light db's so I'll at least be able to get some exercise in. On the bright side itll force me to do some cardio ha.

Went out for dinner tonight to this reastaraunt that served just a plate with a giant steak on it... 1lb flank steak and a side of asparagus was unreal. felt like magic.

Just went for some early morning legs (I'm 2 hrs behind est here so it was 5:40am). 15min Max incline treadmill, 25 min of goblet squats/db sldl/db bulg split squat/be lunges, and then 10min off and on (as long as I could hold) of wall seated squat holds (I know there's a name for these but I el forgetto ha).

I swear I can still feel some of last nights meat in my stomach (which I love). Both my work partner and I decided we're gonna do the same thing all week, work and have some light shakes for lunch (mostly daytime fast) and then go have a giant steak dinner every night ha. Basically a modified apex predator or warrior diet. We will see how this goes.

A couple quick notes:

1) DO NOT take tta while doing long fasts and cardio... I'm currently too scared to shower because literally every muscle in my body fees like its about to cramp. Even my toes.

2) noticing some serious improvement in my arms and shoulder area as far as looking more pumped/full. On the negative side, for some reason my stomach looks bloated as all hell... Showing light abs up top and then this little bowling ball belly that's like protruding ha. Very odd especially considering I have an empty stomach. Not sure what's going on there but I could just be bloat from tta/odd eating schedule.

Yeah my stomach gets a little bloated when I use TTA but subsides when I stop. Glad your puttin on some mass for that wedding. Might need a bigger tux ;)

Very light workout this morning was 10min cardio and then about 15min of light back. Db only go up to 45lb so all the rows were pretty light and I went for more squeeze then anything. Was still sweating profusely.

Afternoon session was 20min cardio and 2min of additional back. More rows, rows, and some shrugs. Since all I have here is db, and a flat bench my options were limited ha. Can't wait to get back into a real gym again next week.

Fasted and had a shake and some aminos through the day and then went back to the restaurant (diff location) tonight and had another 500g filet steak. Everything in Mexico is so cheap... $20 for a 500g steak, salad, and bread. Amazing.

Notes: not nearly as cramped today as I made sure to eat more last night as well as drink more through the day. Being active seems to help too. Osta seems to be filling out my arms nicely. Shoulders looking improved as well. Sweating has increased significantly this week. Faster to start and soaked by the end every workout.

Still have been really tired but I think that's more due to the diet change then anything. Also jumping time zones and working longer days doesn't help.

Woke up this morning looking much leaner. Still have a significant "beer belly" type of blaot but I know for a fact that it is just that and not fat so I'm not worried. Even with that extra bloating i look leaner then when I started cutting a few weeks back so things are going the right direction. Hammered out some db shoulder work for about 20min with almost no rest between sets. Kept it light, fast paced, and tight form and it felt really good. No pain in my shoulders which I usually have a bit of. Might hit some arms for a bit if I go again this afternoon.

I know a good deal of min is due to the TTA im taking with it. Was hoping the arimistane would control that but no luck. My week before vacation ill prob add some natty diuretic to clean it up like you said

Arimistane doesn't really dry me up in appearance. My knees and ankles pop a lot louder on mornings after I take it. That's about it.

If I run it higher dosed for 8 weeks it dries me out more towards the end but its def not the AI of death that some people make it out to be. adex will do more for me in 1 dose then a month of arimistane will.

Funeral day today. No workouts and oddball diet. Trying to keep it high protein and low carb since it's my second day without a workout.

Looking a bit leaner still. Slight bloating seems to have been reduced a bit with some lower carb days as well. No more cramping issues either.

Cannot wait to get back in the gym tomorrow. Thinking legs or back first. Maybe even legs and shoulders or back and chest in a marathon session ;)

On the plane back to the dirty south as I type. Gonna get back to the apt, unpack and head straight to the gym. Decided I'm gonna just destroy legs and then waddle all week ;)

Should be a long session so I might squeeze some food in pre workout.

Feeling much leaner and tighter today. Think it's mostly due to the reduced bloating. Water intake has been lower the last few days with the hectic schedule so that may have me a bit dehydrated. I will weigh in when I get home and ten again tomorrow morning after I've gotten a nice meal or two in me.

Had sex last night and honestly had no issues. Leading up to it there was almost no desire to but I didn't have any issues once things started moving so I'll have to say no or only a tiny bit of libido lacking right now.

Worked legs last night and man did it feel good to get back under some real weight. Things were going great until I tweaked something in my groin around 265lb so I went one light round after that and then to other iso exercises to take it easy on it.

Shoulders this morning just felt great. Really starting to notice less pain during anything that I have felt recurring. Def enjoying that fact.

Weight this morn was at 191.6lb so I def lost a good bit last week. I enjoyed the eating layout too so I'm gonna stick to light meals through the day and a big dinner. All will stay clean with an occasional cheat depending on progress. Bloat is way down as well.

That's exactly how I do it. Light bfast, light lunch, and a hefty dinner. Easy for me to maintain because bfast and lunch are at work so I can only eat what I pack. And that leaves me enough room to get full on dinner and kill any desire to munch.

ya I like this layout as well. It's also easy to take on the road since I'm traveling a good bit and tend to work long days and not have time to eat a bunch. Now I can enjoy big dinners and not have to worry about the cals adding up either.

ya I try to work lunges in now and again. Never had much issue as I played a lot of hockey goalie until I moved so flexibility and General groin/hip health was always good but the last few months I've been going heavier and haven't gotten the secondary mobility work that hickey naturally provided so I think it tightened me up. Pair that with a week without a true leg day and minimal warmup and poof, little tweak to the groin.

Woke up and realized I had already snoozed my alarm three times this morn... was just super tired and in the middle of a dream so really struggled to get out of bed. Once I got moving I was fine but wow was I tired at first. Hit chest this morning pretty hard. I've really been enjoying working my way from high cable cross to low in 4 places at 2 sets each. Keep weight lighter and go for sets of 10-12 with short rest between. Great pump, good burn, and leaves me nice and sore the day after. I really need to figure out how to put some serious mass on my chest during my next bulk as it just feels lacking.

Spent 10min in the sauna pwo as well. Gotta say this is like a life changer for me ha.

Osta "euphoria" seems to have faded a bit as my mood is pretty normal most days now. Joint and tendon/ligament pain does seem to be improving as well. Overall body comp seems to be trending in the right direction comparable to the weight lost on the scale.

it's always been a weak area for me (literally... My bench is embarrassing) but I've always felt like it wasn't the biggest weakness so it always gets pushed back ha

Woke up late again this morning so I did arms instead of back. Didn't want to have to rush it so I figured I'll hold off until tomorrow.

Bicep/Forearm tendo felt especially good today (first time in like a year and a half) which was awesome. Nice quick suspersetted workout and I was in and out in about 60min including 10min sauna and a shower.

Weight was back up a little higher agin this morning at 194.2 which could be a combo of water, hadn't pooped yet, and adding more carbs back in the last couple days vs last week. Seems like the scale is moving much slower then usual which is probably good (muscle retention) but can make it a mental struggle as its hard to notice body comp changes as fast as scale ones normally go.

Had to put my 7000th post here haha. Didn't wanna waste it in someone else's log ;)

Finally found the new arctic zero's (some at least) that have double the cals per pint but are creamier and have mix ins... Tried the chocolate chip cookie dough tonight and it's not bad. 300 cals for the whole pint so I wasn't expecting miracles but the mix in cookie dough pieces were real good. Still "fakey" but what can you expect? Would eat it again.

nice. They had that one too but I figured it was just a new label and the same cnc as before. I'll have to try it now as the cnc was my fav of the others

ha I wish I had an excuse... For years in college (before I really lee what I was doing) I tried and tried to get my numbers up but I just suck at it. Even now I can't get much.

ugh I don't get it. My OHP is creeping closer to my bench like weekly. Seems like no matter what I've tried my bench is the snail of my progress.
