Last nights magnificently amazing treats: I was at a wedding, and the grooms family owns a local gelato shop: "just ask" white chocolate gelato with Oreos and peanut butter swirled in.. And the Oreos were practically whole cookies- I believe double stuffed too. Incredible

And luckily I was first in line to get some because they ended up running out of all the good flavors early. But when I got home I realized my fiances friend had brought some vanilla custard when she came last week... A whole quart! So I melted down some cookie dough and made my own creation :D

Interesting you mentioned that,
No one would think of costco but their fresh baked goods are decent, and the restaurant is better than expected in a store

Yes luckily I'm on a bulk, but I actually prefer/feel the need to cheat more while dieting.

I see use in cheats and refeeds but that is overkill for a day lol I would call that nothing but counterproductive in a diet unless your TDEE is over 4k

I've always done massive refeeds (4-6k cals) while cutting and they've worked out really well. They work best when used in conjunction with a low carb diet, or intermittent fasting IME.

What are your maintenance cals like?

Currently, I am eating somewhere between 2500 - 3000 cals, and I'm gaining at a very slow rate. My maintenance is probably around 2600-2700.

When I cut, I usually end up eating around 2300 cals on average.

The best strategy is to look at your weekly caloric intake rather than daily. Let's say 2500 is your maintenance. 17,500 cals is your weekly maintenance. If you eat 2000 calories for 6 days, then on the 7th day, you could potentially consume 5500 cals and still be within your maintenance. If you want to lose weight, you could still have a cheat day, but maybe make it 3500.

Despite what most people think, consistently eating that much really isn't fun, and I love food. Maybe if you only tried it for a few days, but for months on end is a different story. Many people that require a ton of food to grow (5500-6500+ cals daily), don't like it, and struggle to enjoy food anymore, regardless of what it is.

It does makes dieting a lot better though. :)

She is a total boss. Unreal how easy she makes it look. I almost want to see her paired up against the boys (i know it'll never happen) just to know if there's really as much disparity between high level men and women in a sport like that that requires so much technical finesse
