Driven2lift

Legend
I enjoy riddles, and as you may guess by the title am a LOTR fan.

Want to try out a riddle thread.
No googling answers! Lol

My first riddle, a LOTR classic:

What has roots as nobody sees,
Is taller than trees,
Up, up it goes,
And yet never grows?

I have keys but no locks. I have space but no room. You can enter but can't go outside. What am I?

I was thinking more of a keyboard (pc not musical) but it has caps and number locks

^ yessir a keyboard
Keys, space bar, enter key

I've got lots of riddles but anyone else want to share?

What goes up white and comes down yellow and white?

What has a head but never weeps, has a bed but never sleeps, can run but never walks, and has a bank but no money?

What is it that no man wants to have but no man wants to lose?

98% Edit: or 98 pounds

Edit, edit: it doesn't say. Lol

Total weight is 100, other numbers were all percents. Answer wanted is the pounds of water lost

Dunno. It doesn't give total weight now. Just that water is 98%.

A riddle for non math fans:

A house has 4 walls. All of the walls are facing south, and a bear is circling the house. What color is the bear?

To answer, "how much has evaporated". My guess is 1%

To answer, "how much has evaporated". My guess is 1%

He said poundage, and my guess is also 1#, but that seems too easy.

I was a bit confused because the original question said, "how much evaporated". Hence my guess. It does seem to easy

It wants pounds.

Typically people guess 1 pound, but that is wrong.
